This winery is hidden away in it's own vineyard! Very beautiful property with a great patio and lawn. They have games available for your groups or kids, like bocce ball or crochet. Northstar has a unique Blending Experience where you get to act like a winemaker and blend your own wine. The experience starts off with an overview of the different wines, soils and terrain, then continues to sampling of six different wines. You pour your own glasses directly from the barrels. Fantastic atmosphere, very tasty wine and very knowledgible servers make this a must stop for Walla Walla samplers....
Lovely wines, great staff, convenient location, prices very fair for the quality you are getting. They also are dog friendly if you're traveling with your dog - no need to live them in your hotel or car. They have a cute, little space in the bottom of the Marcus Whitman hotel but it's convenient to other hotels, restaurants and tasting rooms in town.The prices are very fair and they offer different varietals than just the Cab Sav and Merlots that a lot of Walla Walla wineries are offering! If you're in the area, definitely add this place to your list....
Henry Earl Estates is dedicated to making wines that reflect the unique character and quality of their Red Mountain and Wahluke Slope vineyards.
First off the Henry Earl wines are fabulous, the food is excellent and the decor is great, not to mention its kind of an after hours tasting spot. The staff is friendly and attentive. The tasting room is tiny, in the airport area of Walla Walla and relatively unadorned. A few photos here and there and some press clippings on the wall. Who cares? The venue itself is nice enough and spacious: a large table near the enterance, a bar area with about 6 seats and a few other seating areas.. The venue seems to be appealing to a more light-hearted rather than sophisticated crowd - there was a not-so-subtle "naughty" theme throughout. The price, however is on par with other wineries that take themselves a bit more seriously (or snooty).

Hands down one of the most fun places to taste wine and listen to music in the Walla Walla valley! No need to be intimidated here... this winery has a funky, laid back music theme going on. The walls are lined with shelves of classic vinyl record albums; just ask to pick one out, and they'll play it on their old-fashioned record player for you!
