Please go there if you love wine and know a good one from a bad one. Please don't if you are just looking for the next stop for your limo because this guy is a rock star that deserves to be taken seriously The tasting room serves many small scale wineries. It's a very warm and inviting space.Modus Operandi is definetly worth the visit if you want to something off the 'regular' Napa circuit and want great, high quality wine and support a small winery.

Modus Operandi is a one-man show, so if you would like to taste his wines you will be contacting and tasting with him, the winemaker. Tastings are by appointment only (telephone) and it is a good idea to call a bit in advance so that he can make time for you.

The tasting fee is $55 per person and is waived with the purchase of 6 bottles per person or by joining the wineclub (1 membership per couple), either of which will qualify for the waiving of the tasting fee.
