Only premium vinifera grapevines are planted, consisting of Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The traditional dense planting of the vineyards at 1100 to 1400 vines per acre produces more concentrated fruit and therefore higher quality wines.The winery is a renovated turn-of-the-century barn that houses a fermentation tank room and lab. The people working here were extremely friendly and know the product. Breathtaking views from every part of the property, especially the back deck that overlooks rolling hills of vines. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable about the incredible and broad selection of wines.

They mainly grow two varieties; Pinot Noir and Merlot. Following a french influenced model we make high quality, low yield wines.It's a small vineyard, with an amazing staff, and though it's pricier than other NF spots, the Pinot Noirs are worth the bucks (and the trip!)One of the best wineries on the North Fork of Long Island with great family to match.

There is a long gravel driveway leading to the main building. Along both sides of the driveway are rows and rows of grapevines. At the main building, the bar/tasting area was toward the back. Tasting menu is mainly broken up by red vs white, plus some additional choices available.Nice wine with good selection. The most fabulous tasting room on a gorgeous piece of land. One of the only vineyards on the North Fork and on the Long Island Sound.
