Knapp Winery

Knapp Winery is located in the Cayuga Appellation of Upstate New York, in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Finger Lakes wine country is home to over a hundred wineries and is North America’s premier cool-climate regionThe Finger Lakes wine region produces world-class Rieslings and Knapp Rieslings have won many awards. At Knapp you will be also be able to sample Gewurztraminers, Lembergers, Chardonnays, Merlots, Sangioveses along side French-American Hybrids such as Seyval, Baco Noirs, and more.

It's a small winery amongst hundreds of others along the Finger Lakes. While the decor is at best modest for a winery, the selection and experience were great. $3 gets a wine tasting of pick-your-own from a list of about 30 ranging moderns whites to reds to spirits and even ice wine. The tastings are generous and the staff, while running several tastings at once, are personable and friend Knapp also has a fabulous vineyard restaurant.

Knapp Vineyard Restaurant is known for its eclectic, casual, gourmet meals. Their restaurant offers a perfect opportunity to pair award winning wines with great food, using local ingredients from area farms, including herbs and vegetables from their own garden

Knapp's Estate is the perfect backdrop for any special event, particularly weddingd. Our beautifully landscaped gardens, grapevine covered trellises, manicured vineyards or our rustic "Barrel Room" are picturesque backdrops and the epitome of a wine country setting.
