Hamel Family Ranch’s 30-acre vineyard is situated at the toe of the Mayacamas Mountains on the eastern side of Sonoma Valley. Rooted in the rich, volcanic soils (consisting of Red Hill, Gould, and Tuscan Cobbly clay loam), the 15-year-old vineyard is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Grenache, and Petite Sirah.
Sweeping views from the brand new, beautifully appointed tasting room and patio are both isolated from any sounds at all from the highway. What a getaway! The tour of the cave and production facility is fun. The staff are knowledgable, friendly, and highly professional.
They invite you to experience Hamel Family Wines Thursday through Monday by appointment only.
The Estate Experience includes a comprehensive tour of our estate house, winery, caves, and vineyards followed by a private tasting of four Estate Series wines curated by a Hamel Family Wines Wine Ambassador.
