Carlson Vineyards,is a small farm winery, producing premium wines in the heart of Colorado wine country above the town of Palisade.

It has a very laid back vibe and those running the tastings are the people who make the wine and know all there is to know about it. It was nice to hear how it is made and where the fruit comes from (all local - like right around them!). Their wines reflect the fruits grown in the area. Unpretentious tasting area and friendly staff! This vineyard should be on your list of places to visit! Cute little shop with really friendly staff. No charge for tastings and no pressure to buy. They have a great outdoor area with seating, shade, and a great view of the vineyards.

Open daily 10am - 5:45pm, 7 days a week except major holidays.
