The Coal Valley Vineyard is a stunningly located 5 hectare winery in the Coal River Valley, South East Tasmania producing award winning wines with a focus on Pinot Noir.  The original Old Block has plantings of Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and a very small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Darlington Vineyard is situated on a 2 hectare site located a kilometre from the sheltered waters of Prosser Bay on Tasmania’s Freycinet coast.Darlington Vineyard has 5000 vines of four varieties; Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc. The annual yield is between 7 and 10 tonnes. The trellising method used is vertical shoot positioning and the aim is to produce 2kg of fruit from each plant.
