Sinapius Vineyard

Sinapius (sin-ay-pi-us) is located in the heart of the Pipers Brook wine region in Northern Tasmania, above the banks of the Pipers Brook. The original 2-hectare vineyard was purchased by Vaughn Dell & Linda Morice, in 2005. The new vineyard is close-planted, ranging from 5100 vines per hectare for the gruner veltliner to 10250 vines per hectare for the pinot noir and chardonnay. The wines are made with a minimalist approach: natural ferments, basket-pressing, extended lees ageing and minimal fining and filtration.

Opening Hours: Cellar Door open Thursday to Monday 12:00pm – 5:00pm. Closed July.
