Gooree Park

As one of Mudgee’s historic properties, Gooree Park is renowned both as a world class thoroughbred horse stud and as the largest vineyard in the district, is also responsible for crafting the thoroughbred of wines.

Gooree oversees the management of 400 hectares under vine, the production of premium wines as well as on site Cellar Door operations, events and tours.

Their vineyards are nestled within Mudgee’s picturesque rolling hills and benefit from fertile soil and an ideal climate for growing varietals such as Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Gooree’s main Cellar Door is set at the entrance of the property on the Castlereagh Hwy and caters for visitors 7 days a week open Mon-Fri 10am-5pm & Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm).

In addition to our array of wines on offer, visitors can also purchase produce and condiments sourced purely from local operators.
