Paxton

Established in 1979, Paxton is a family owned McLaren Vale wine company. Founder and owner, David Paxton is one of Australia’s most highly respected viticulturalists – a reputation built on managing and growing wine grapes of exceptional quality for over 30 years.They manage the vineyards biodynamically – a system of farming without the use of synthetic fertilisers and pesticides with a focus on promoting healthy, living soils through the use of natural compost preparations.

The tasting room is located in the original shearing shed and the grounds surrounding it have been landscaped and developed in sympathy with the heritage of the property.

Located 45 minutes from Adelaide in the picturesque McLaren Vale wine region, Paxton provides an extremely flexible venue for functions, private events and weddings – whether for 50 or 200 guests.
