Information about the Winery/Vineyard:

The Kaesler family were pioneers who settled in the Barossa Valley in the 1840s. In 1891 they bought a parcel of land and in 1893 planted their first vines. Today, Kaesler Wines are made from these ancient, dry grown vineyards by the third owners of this magnificent property. We welcome you to our Barossa Valley Winery and Cellar Door; home of The Old Bastard, Alte Reben Shiraz, The Bogan and our other estate grown premium wines. Kaesler also offers casual dining at our restaurant, Kaesler Kitchen and B&B accommodation.

Located in the heart of our Kaesler estate vineyards and winery, Kaesler Kitchen offer a true wine region dining experience. With simple robust, flavours to complement our Barossa Valley wines, our small, but regularly changing menu is guided by the seasons and the traditional cooking of Chef Wayne Hatenboer.

Enjoy a guided walking tour of their old vine vineyards including the gnarled vines of the 1893 Old Bastard Vineyard, followed by a wine tasting in Kaesler Cellar Door of the wines produced from these old vines –$40 per person

At Kaesler, they have a number of small and large spaces that can cater for events of 10-120 people, ideal for small weddings and corporate events.

Their Cellar Door on The Barossa Valley Way at Nuriootpa is open from 11am-5pm, 7 days a week for tastings, sales and tours.
