You cannot come to Vancouver and not eat here according to all the guide books. The restaurant is really beautiful without being stuffy or overly fancy. Lots of people dressed up and lots in jeans. Servers are top notch and pretty funny too. Outststanding seafood cooked perfectly. Great venur for a special occasion such as birthdays/Christmas etc. MENU
Comfort food best describes this restaurant. You really can't beat the comfort of a Burgoo gooey grilled cheese and a cup of either the Tomato or Carrot soup. Good service. Very attentive staff. Cozy atmosphere. Even outside on the patio. MENU
If you live in, work in or visit Vancouver... You MUST dine here! The fusion of Indian cuisine is extremely creative and delicious! This place has a nice ambience, cool room with high ceilings and attentive and knowledgeable staff. The open kitchen definitely adds to the room. Christmas MENU Regular Menu
Great location, fast service and delicious food. I would highly recommend this place for a date night and family dinner such as Christmas. Overlooking a panorama of downtown Vancouver and set on top of a hill in the middle of a park, the view is spectacular. MENU
Come to get real experience and atmosphere with Ukrainian trying their famous dishes such as borscht, cabbage rolls perogies, and many more of them. All their food is from homemade Grandma's traditional recipes. This place looks like a bit of a dive but the food is fantastic and reasonably priced. Most of the entrees can easily feed two adults so consider getting an appetizer with entrée to split, unless you are starving. Standouts in the menu are the cabbage rolls, cottage cheese perogies, and sausages
As far as bars go in Vancouver, there are many to choose from. When choosing, make sure to put Bacchus at the top of that list. It's swank and plush with overstuffed chairs and dark woodThe menu is awesome and this is the type of place that you ask what the servers favorite meal is and you will never be disappointed. The wine list is also incredible A classy place for a Christmas dinner. MENU
This is a very classy place - people come here to be seen. (not shocking since its the Four Seasons, but still wanted to state the obvious). The service and food are always good. They have an excellent selection of wine and drinks, and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. See menus for Christmas, American Thanksgiving , New Years Eve and every day.
Without a question, it's date-worthy, not necessarily just for the food, but the decor, ambience, service and of course, the action. Always good. Consistently good service with great bar service. The sampler plates are awesome and a must-try for first time visitors. Make sure you book well ahead if you plan to go there on a Friday or Saturday nigh.t Good for festive treats such as Christmas. Pretty amazing spot by the water. It is expensive, but the food is very The Teahouse experience is about so much more than the setting. The food is always delicious, perfectly prepared, letting the main ingredients shine rather than smothering them in sauces and excess. good They have a good range of special events such as Christmas in the park MENU
Everything is always at the peak of freshness and the menu changes daily. (hence the name daily kitchen). For anyone traveling to Vancouver, there is no better place to eat than Kits Daily Kitchen. Local best-of-the-best ingredients and a customized tasting menu ) should be enough. But what sets KDK over the top is absolutely phenomenal service. MENU
The food is great. The service is great. It isn't cheap but I think it is well priced for what you get.The ambience is contemporary upscale, with an open kitchen so you can watch the dishes as they are created and assembled, and those are the most appropriate words for the process. Some mixed reviews re food qualty/value for money MENUS
Aesthetically La Buca is a very small, beautiful room. The proximity of the tables to each other are part of the charm - this is a trattoria not a ristorante after all. This is a small, simple and casual place - very nice for a quality Italian meal with friends (adults, not really a place to bringthe kids). The pastas are always exquisite and the service is amazing. Great venue for special occassions such as Christmas lunch/dinner. MENU
One thing that sets C apart from other seafood restaurants in Vancouver is the service you receive the moment you step into the restaurant. Cis a good experience for a seafood dinner. The food is fresh and the presentationwell done, although like most fine dining restaurants, the portions are small. The view is excellent of False creek and Granville island, Great for special festive occassions such as Christmas/Valentines. MENU
Located a few blocks away from the trendy Yale restaurants and bars, it has a more business/fine dining style as the seating is located in a Victorian House; dishes are traditional, both veal and quail is served very nicely with a lovely aroma and taste. Service and food just excellent! Great for special treats such as Christmas. MENU
