The menu is traditional and English and everything you could want in a fish and chip store. The chips are not fries, they're chips, just like they should be - nice and fat. The milkshakes also deserve a special mention because they are delicious. The service is friendly and surrounded by memorabiliah of all things of the UK. MENU
Great place to have a few drinks and watch the world cup. Homemade haggis and the brunch special is a good deal. Great food, great service! I had the fish and chips here and it came out perfect! Not greasy, not cold, not too crisp The burger is pretty awesome, with great thick fries, great tasting juicy patty, and some rather brilliant fried onions on top! MENU
Really good fish and chips. This place does it right. Many options of fish. Other British menu items if fish and chips isn't for you. Fish has a light crispy breading. Portions are huge. The cuts of fish are huge. The atmosphere is perfect British Pub style.
Great food, and good service too. The food is always a little unusual, with a slight Scottish flair (or it's haggis. or the scotch egg.), and perfectly delicious. It has great cocktails, wine selection, unique drafts, and of course an enormous selection of whiskey and scotch. The food is more Scottish-influenced. MENU
Looking for a cozy pub with good English beers on draft downtown? Look no further. Fantastic pub and the perfect lunch spot too. Great selection of draught beers and the curry fries are to die for. Great menu, Good food. Comfortable decor and friendly staff. MENU
After a few drinks order up a traditional meat pie, scotch egg or sausage roll. All are tasty! The menu is a tad limited, but tasty, served hot, and a perfect accompaniment for the Highland libations on offer. The Scotch egg is well done, but the true stars are the sausage rolls and the pies. If you like whisky and or want to learn about it you cannot come to a better place. There must be 100 bottles, the correct glasses, No Ice.
This place offeres an all-around incredible experience. Friendly wait-staff, a rustic chic open a space, inexpensive yet quality beer selections during happy hour, and a satisfying array of authentic British food to boot. Classy and roomy bar and never too crowded. Grear burgers and fish & chips. Try the Cheese Mac you wont be dissapointed.
Beautiful during the holidays. Lots and lots of lights. Expensive drinks but yummy. This is quite possibly the most ridiculous bar in the whole city...Well at least around Christmas anyway. Rolf's takes the holidays to a new level, the lights, the music, the (seriously) insane decorations, this place has it all. hey have a fantastic selection of German beers, schnapps, and Riesling wines. The food is great and they have a lot of authentic German options. Open for Thanksgiving and Christmas MENUS
The inside is warm and cozy and very German, from the decor to the bartenders and waitresses. The atmosphere puts you in the mood to eat hearty German food and delicious German beer. Wursts, schnitzels, sauerbraten, schweinhaxe (pork knuckle--only on Thursdays--I think), chicken, fish, whatever you want you can have it here. The connected German grocery is incredible. MENU
Cafe Katja is a truly wonderful restaurant that will blow every other German/Austrian restaurant in the city out of the water.Katja is excellent - great flavorful Austrian food, come prepared to be stuffed. True to most German/Austrian places, this is a good spot to bring some of your meat and beer loving friends and go to town. MENU
With its super high ceilings and very tall windows thus is one cafe where you can actually eat at a table by the window. The ambience is extremely pleasant. Menu is wide ranging and true to the culture. Great German sausages, good sides and fabulous coffee. The food was a variety of traditional and more modern German and Austrian food. Think schnitzel, goulash and viennese pastries.
This place is amazing! The decor is of a cafe in Vienna! Beautiful! It is more casual than the cafe upstairs that serves the same menu. Great selection of food and drink! The service and atmosphere are friendly and casual. This cafe is pretty authentic in preserving the German-Austrian culture - and the menu is all european desserts and drinks.
Excellent food! Authentic German for sure. Servers in lederhosen, beer in giant glass boots, and all kinds of wurst and schnitzel. If you're in the mood for a lot of beer and a huge amount of meat, look no further. Heidelberg gives you the complete German experience, with servers dressed in traditional German garb.
Nurnberger Bierhaus has old world charm, a large assortment of draught beer and well over 30 beers in bottles. They even have German music playing in the background. The menu is endless, they have so much food and it looks so good from poultry to seafood to pork and everything comes with like potatoes and noodles which is expected. Everything from the hot pretzel, bratwurst links to the strudel is delicious. MENU
It's a classic family run establishment run since the early 1960's. Friendly welcoming service and warm vibe with quality patrons. They serve good ol' fashioned, tasty fish & Chips among a variety of other things. Think wings, fried stuff, sandwiches and traditional Irish dishes like Shepherd's Pie and Bangers and Mash.
