This place is great. Obviously the fun decor lends itself to a perky atmosphere, and the coffee is delicious. Apparently this is THE hipster coffee bar to be at on rainy weekends. Line to the door and line of cups awaiting caffeine on the counter. Two baristas worked like a symphony to create and expedite drinks to the awaiting customers. The lattes and pastries are tasty, and some are even vegan-friendly.
There is a great selection of sandwiches ranging from turkey to pure veggie as well as a few soup and salad options. Ingredients are very fresh and the pretzel bread was so soft and delish! For the seriously concerned celiac: The gluten free bread is individually wrapped and stored on the counter in a closed plastic box. There is a knife set aside to cut the bread. The chef will ask you if they need to change their gloves when you say 'gluten free sandwich.
They import and roast their own beans in house! Their sandwiches are made to order and are loaded with fresh ingredients that we always ensure are of the highest quality! They have a plurality of brew methods, beans to buy, and brewing equipment. The staff is helpful and the door is cozy. The coffee is so smooth and delicious and the staff super sweet!
Not only is Blaze right off the Belmont stop, but you can also order online, and they have a gluten free crust option. Great concept & product. They make their pizzas about 5 times, consistently excellent. It's fast, casual, inexpensive and it's great every time. Seriously, each pizza only cooks in a few minutes!
Absolutely delicious mixtures and state of the art machines that perfectly curate the most amazing cup of joe. This place will serve a fantastic (amazing! Delicious! Reasonably priced!) cup of French press coffee, has a lovely atmosphere and a small selection of pastries to chooses from. The baristas know what they are doing here.
Chicago q is an excellent place for barbecue. It is on the expensive side but the food is so good it is worth the price. A very high quality restaurant with great food, outstanding drinks, and fantastic service. The atmosphere is casual rustic elegance. Plenty of street parking, great patio or bar area dining for smaller groups.
This is quite possibly the best coffee in the city. On top of that, it's organic and they roast it right there in front of your face!! Lovely people. nice coffee shop. good coffee. enthusiastic about what they do but laid back. local, non-chain business. Really great tasting coffee. They offer a variety of ways to brew (fast, slow, french press, and I think one more).
The selection is fresh, extensive and as high quality as one could find at any restaurant. The combination of service and value is unbeatable. Maxwell's is the restaurant in the East Bank club. Very cute and cozy spot with lovely owners who make great espresso. Free WiFi and comfortable seating. The place is adorable. It's very comforting, great atmosphere. Really great selection of pastries and well-made coffee drinks. The vibe is genuine and pretty, unpretentious.
Such a charming and adorable place! Atmosphere, service and food are all great. Probably the most authentic New Orleans style restaurant in Chicago. Very impressive Bourbon list. Great drinks, good beer selection, the best blood sausage ever. The shrimp & grits are amazing. Service is very warm & hospitable. Regular Dinner MENU Thanksgiving MENU
There are barrels of coffee beans of every flavor known to man and an extensive range of teas. What more do you want in a coffee and tea shop?!!! If you thought you were a connoisseur wait until you step inside this place! Large selection of good quality loose leaf teas and tea accessories. They also have a ton of unique coffee flavors (tiramisu, orange chocolate, the list goes on and on). There is a variety of vegan pastry.
Katherine Anne Confections has been creating local-focused sweets in Chicago since 2006. Their hand-dipped truffles, soft honey caramels, and pillowy marshmallows are ridiculously good, partially due to theie awesome ingredients. Cream is from a 500-cow herd of Jerseys in central Illinois, and local wildflower honey is used to replace corn syrup. If you haven't had hot chocolate from Katherine Anne's, you haven't had it at all. No matter if you choose a truffle, caramel or marshmallow, you are in for a delectable treat. No matter if you choose a truffle, caramel or marshmallow, you are in for a delectable treat.
Absolutely incredible food. The inside is decorated with so much cool memorabilia. Not cheesy stuff like at a sports bar but the real stuff collected over a career spanning decades. Awesome ambiance, service & food! 5 stars all the way! Ditka's is a great place to go for dinner and drinks if you are looking to go somewhere nice but not "fancy". I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves sports and good food.
The baristas and owners are always personable and happy, which wins you over every time. This place is killer. Simple design and simple menu. Even for non coffee fanatics, you can find something to like about this place. The space itself is hip and big with an upstairs too. The design and interior are sleek and modern. The music is calm and relaxing, as you would expect at a coffee spot.
This is an adorable chocolate cafe! A wide range of small chocolates as well as gelato, pastries, and specialty coffee drinks. This place is adorable! Friendly staff, clean atmosphere. Staff is very nice and friendly, it's a small store and seems to be busy all the time, with lots of tourists and regulars coming around. If you're visiting Chicago for the first time, this is definitely a place you should stop for a sweet treat!
