This is one of the many Bangladeshi-owned grocery stores/ steam table eateries along 3rd street. 
The groceries all the usual Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi and even some Sri Lankan spices and condiments. Also a selection of snacks, desserts, teas. The food served here is inexpensive but very good. Bangladeshi cuisine is known for its emphasis on fish and I would highly recommend those dishes here but the traditional indian cuisine here isn't bad either.

Aladin is famous as a Halal Restaurant and as a result vegetarians have very limited option here. This is a Bengali style kitchen that is different from north/south Indian flavors. The spices are toned down and there is distinct sweetness in most items. The place also sells groceries and you can catch yourself a good exotic fish. The prices are on the super cheap side. If not for the restaurant, and if you live nearby, its a good place for ethnic grocery.

Delicious food and friendly service. Hands down one of the best places for indian food in the valley!! Their menu has the usual dishes you would expect, and a few unexpected ones, such as jalfrezi. If you want delicious indian food and AMAZING service this is the place - look no further. Awesome ambiance, just remodeled, great waiters, everyone smiling and happy to help you. By far one of the best Indians in LA. They just celebrated I think their 34th year. MENU

The food is delicious and staffs are friendly. The food is delivered to your table in less than 10mins which is really good. Recommend this restaurant. Recommend the sizzling combo platter ... They  have  Lamb biryani which is delicious .The service is nice and pretty fast .The food is must try for spice lovers the desi type.

Good place to go for a quick, affordable lunch while visiting LA. The lunch buffet serves a variety of dishes. The veggie dishes were the best. There were about 4-5 vegetarian options and 4 meat dishes. Lunch buffet also came with naan served at your table and not at the buffet. This place is just a simple authentic Indian Restaurant. MENU

Such a wonderful place, run by friendly people that make the homestyle food to order. Great food, great prices and ridiculous portions Also great customer service very polite and helpful cashier/ waitress. Don't shy away from this place because their ambiance , their food is really good . It's a small family Resturant!

This place is awesome. They are open until midnight, the food is always fresh and tasty, and the portions are absolutely ridiculously massive. All of their kabobs are fantastic. Perfectly cooked - juicy, savory (but not too salty), little char-grilled on the outside, without sacrificing any of the tender juicy goodness on the inside.   MENU

This is fresh and authentic food server and this is an exceptional place which has the best spicy and amazing food. Perfect curries, veggies, chicken, and super fresh rotis and parathas. They make paratha to order it comes out steaming hot! They have a small portion of the store set up cafeteria-style where you order you food.

 Inside it was like a corner store. They had hot food, produce, and a small shopping area. First and foremost, their price is excellent. Food is of very good quality. They don't skimp on food, neither do they nickel and dime you to death for extras. Generous portions. Very clean. Super attentive service. Very authentic. You can taste the love and hard work put into this food. 

Its a restaurant/grocery like few others in the area. So if you are looking for a fancy restaurant environment this is not it. But quality and taste wise its a great place. Their food is really good. Especially biryani. And very well priced. Fish is great too.
