The Oinkster has been winning over locals in Eagle Rock for years, so it's no surprise that its newest Hollywood location is a success. The menu here goes well beyond the classic American hamburger, but none of the offbeat creations seem overdone. The Oinkster is one of those places you hope never goes away. It's got casual charm, excellent food, enough choice to satisfy most, and best of all, decent beer! MENU
Nancy Silverton, Mario Batali and Joseph Bastianich meld their prodigious talents to bring Pizzeria Mozza and Osteria Mozza to the heart of Los Angeles. Mozza has some of the best pizza I've had in Los Angeles. It's a loud place, bustling with a strange mixture of wealthy old Hancock park families and wealthy young hipsters conversing over wine and pizza. MENU
Fantastic! Exceptionally attentive and friendly staff (these people will make you feel like you know them) and they have designed fresh delicious food to parallel all of that. Delicious Food and outstanding service! Powerplant Superfood Cafe is a small and quaint restaurant. The food is super fresh, organic, and gluten free. The have sandwiches, salads, soups, smoothies, juices, coffees, teas, and desserts. MENU
Talk about a Class A burger, possibly the best in town. They don't mess around, all their ingredients are always fresh, buns are perfect and the burger is cooked right. You want it rare, it comes out rare.Plan Check is a budget-friendly restaurant, and it's the kind of place where you can get loose while tossing back some beers. The namesake PCB (Plan Check Burger) gets a lot of buzz because of it's one-of-a-kind ketchup leather. WTF is ketchup leather? Dehydrated squares of ketchup and sriracha, reminiscent of Fruit Roll-Ups. Paired with Americanized dashi cheese, schmaltz onions, mixed pickles, and nestled between a "crunch bun," MENU
Chicago Deep Dish goes West Coast! At just over $20 for a large, deep dish pizza this food-to-money ratio cannot be beat. The food is good if you're a vegan, but you want to make sure you let them know that you want the vegan menu. The deep fish is their speciality and the house specials are the way to go, unless you're really craving something specific. The pizza is extremely filling so recommend that you get the small and share it. MENU
They serve up delicious, healthy plant-based food amidst a cool ambiance and fun restaurant concept. The food is pretty amazing. The service here is above par. Great ambiance -- as is typical with vegan restaurants. MENU
The restaurant is a family affair, owned and operated by a father and two sons who have each put in years as line cooks at various L.A. restaurants. The pedigree pays off in expert touches like beer-infused cheddar cheese and homemade Thousand Island dressing. Dedicated to satisfy your burger craving. Located in Highland Park, they opened their doors on April 20th of 2012. Using ingredients from all over the world, Fusion Burgers offers nothing but the best in taste. They believe to serve the community the most excellent burgers with quality service.”MENU
Cruzer makes a bold and strong stance in the world of vegan pizza. Really, what it does best is to offer a wide variety of delicious and unusual creations that go beyond the ordinary cheese, bread and sauce. As far as vegan pizzas go, they're very generous with their toppings, crust is thin and good, and everything is always good. Customer service is awesome. The guys are helpful and really care about what you're ordering.
Great menu for high maintenance eaters. Vegan? Gluten free? Paleo? There's something here for you. Awesome gluten free cookies too. Decent prices. I wouldn't say they're cheap, but definitely not overpriced. When you want something different and want to nourish your body this is the place to come.
Chado Tea Room is beautiful! Very organized and clean with dozens of teas to choose from. When you're first served you are given a menu and a hand book full of info on all the teas....super entertaining? Great place to enjoy some tea with someone or to grab a bite to eat.
When it comes to grab-and-go sushi, Sherman Oaks' Farm Boy can't be beat. Not only are they affordable in their sushi offerings, but they also have fresh pressed green juices for $3.99 each. They make hand rolls, cut rolls, and edomae chirashizushi bowls throughout the day, meaning you always get a fresh product. There's also piping hot vegetarian udon available at the register too for under $2. Fresh produce, fresh baked goods, fresh sushi. Some of the best pizza in LA. The spice they use to there pizza makes it a one of a kind taste. The crew is always happy and singing to the music they have playing in the store lol. It's a great environment. Try the vegan cheese, cashew, and sundried tomato pizza.
