The food is top quality and you can tell it's got all the same aspects as all other "fine dining" restaurants, but the food isn't really anything too special. At least not for the price. Excellent place to hang out and have a classy evening. The food is decent albeit pricey but its wonderful to spin above the city and see all the sights...The view is spectacular, and so is the ambience. A classic Italian restaurant. Tablecloths and such, but not too pretentious or upscale. Just a good restaurant. Service was excellent and attentive. The atmosphere is somewhat traditional, and business-like. This restaurant has been around for many years, it has great service except for restaurant week. Service is superb. Amazing decor with a modern and intimate feel. Possibly the best kept secret of Phoenix! The Meritage Steakhouse is a hidden GEM in Phoenix!  It is perfectly located for anyone in the west valley, right off the 101 in the JW Marriot Desert Ridge resort. Prices are reasonable for a quality steakhouse and the Meritage did NOT dissapoint.  Great service, attentive, but not intrusive.  Open for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. MENUS

Food is always good. Burgers, salads, sandwiches. All fantastic and a wide variety. Bruschetta or the croquettes of the day are both a must! Always fantastic for brunch. Switch is a great place for sandwiches for lunch or a late night meal. Lots of space and a cute atmosphere with a small patio for fall and winter.  Open for Christmas dinner.
