This is one of the best restaurants in the greater Manchester area, or rather in the entire Northern UK. Always excellent. The food is fantastic, perfectly judged. The dining room is small and perhaps somewhat cramped, but given it's essentially the size of a residential dining room, it's hardly surprising, and it's part of the place's charm. Price wise you will not find any better value. Special diet requirements catered for. MENU
Welcome to The Vienna Coffee House – a fabulous café in the heart of Manchester, serving you the best coffee and food in the traditionalViennese KaffeeHaus style. They offer a delicious and affordable selection of breakfast cuisine, light meals, speciality sandwiches and paninis. We also cater for vegetarians and those on a restricted diet.
This is a really nice spot for a bit of peace and quiet. A relaxing stop to recharge on a busy day. The coffee smell is delightful on entry. It looks just like a Costa or Starbucks but then is much cheaper and has a lovely long bench sofa along one wall. The coffee sold s actually much nicer (and importantly stronger) than that sold by the larger chains. It's possibly a little bit cheaper too, which is strange seeing as railway station prices are almost always inflated. MENU
Lovely little place secluded in between the Northern Quarter and Piccadilly Train Station. The food was delicious! Love the tinned plates. The place to go for coffee fans (V60 & Aeropresso) available. More coffees and equipments are available next to the counter to be taken home. The beans have been roasted in Berlin and has been imported from all over the world. MENU
The food here is fresh and big. Its well worth a try. When you order a coffee you get a Tunnocks teacake or caramel wafer. Laid back vibe, art on the walls, lots of different sections to sit in. Popular with staff and international students of the University. it's a fab place that doubles as a cafe-bar in the daytime and bustling bar at night. Independently owned and run. MENU
Cute, relaxed little café in a convenient Northern Quarter location. An all night cafe, supporting local art and music, board games to play, really good food. There is a lovely menu made up of homemade sandwiches and broths. Be impressed with the food selection; catering for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and for the good old carnivore, they provide a great lunch menu filled with all kinds of buttys, salads and comfort foods. Grreat coffe and tea.
A great bar! Very old fashioned and traditional with a great buzz about it. Great beer selection both bottled and on tap. The Victorian feel takes you back to the times before you were born with a big variety of ales and lovely jubely home cooked style food. Christmas Menu Regular Menu
All their curries are gluten free. The Spicy Hut is by far one of the best places to visit on the Curry Mile. The food is very good, with the flambe sizzler dishes being a speciality. It's one of the places you can take your friends to and end up being hailed as the genius of the curry mile, who knows all the best places like a local.
Great store for for vegetarians, vegans, people with dietary requirements and ethical foodies. Stock up on all the yummy gluten/wheat free goodies in store. The menu includes stews, soups, deserts and salads and you can also get a range of fresh juices and smoothies. As you'd expect, the emphasis is on healthy and wholesome vegetarian, organic and macrobiotic food. There's homemade soups, fresh salads and about half a dozen different hot meals available every day. MENU
