Welcome to The Vienna Coffee House – a fabulous café in the heart of Manchester, serving you the best coffee and food in the traditionalViennese KaffeeHaus style. They offer a delicious and affordable selection of breakfast cuisine, light meals, speciality sandwiches and paninis. We also cater for vegetarians and those on a restricted diet.
A great coffee shop-breakfast place right in the centre of Manchester and only a few seconds away from Market Street. The waiting time on a weekend morning can be 30 mins. On a weekday you can walk straight in. Whatever the wait it's worth it. If you yearn for north American / Canadian diner style food, reat coffe and some interesting twists on the style you are in the right place. MENU
This is probably the most charming modern tea-house you'll find, with a lovely brand design and attentive staff to guide you around the extensive menu of teas and food. Sometimes there's a queue to get a table, particularly if you're in a larger group, but it really is worth it. The presentation is very good, with teas served in glass teapots. MENU
This is a really nice spot for a bit of peace and quiet. A relaxing stop to recharge on a busy day. The coffee smell is delightful on entry. It looks just like a Costa or Starbucks but then is much cheaper and has a lovely long bench sofa along one wall. The coffee sold s actually much nicer (and importantly stronger) than that sold by the larger chains. It's possibly a little bit cheaper too, which is strange seeing as railway station prices are almost always inflated. MENU
Lovely little place secluded in between the Northern Quarter and Piccadilly Train Station. The food was delicious! Love the tinned plates. The place to go for coffee fans (V60 & Aeropresso) available. More coffees and equipments are available next to the counter to be taken home. The beans have been roasted in Berlin and has been imported from all over the world. MENU
The Gallery Cafe is a hidden treasure that I recommend to anyone who enjoys fresh seasonal food expertly cooked without costing an arm and a leg. Everything's prepared fresh on-site in an open kitchen, there's a huge commitment to quality. It serves a wide range of food, from salads to sandwiches, fry ups to fish. For the coffee snobs, they also happen to serve a good quality latte.
t's got a great casual and laid back atmosphere and the food is just good, simple yet wholesome food with something for every taste and appetite. Food is great. Service is lovely. Always a wait but worth it. As the name suggests, it's a cosy little spot, lots of random stuff all over the walls, cute little tables close together, a nice outdoor space as well, perfect for people-watching. The food. Wow. This is somewhere you want to come with an appetite, believe me. MENUS
Hand crafting excellent coffee in the Northern Quarter. Loose-leaf tea, grilled cheese sandwiches, soup, salads and sweet stuff. A place to go if you wanna have a good cuppa/coffee where there is WiFi. Artisanal coffees are available for those who really like their coffees. You have the option of a brewing method of V60 and Aeropresso depending on what you fancy. The coffees are swapped every 2-3 weeks, so you are guaranteed a new coffee if you popped in on a weekly basis.
The food here is fresh and big. Its well worth a try. When you order a coffee you get a Tunnocks teacake or caramel wafer. Laid back vibe, art on the walls, lots of different sections to sit in. Popular with staff and international students of the University. it's a fab place that doubles as a cafe-bar in the daytime and bustling bar at night. Independently owned and run. MENU
Caffine & Co is great and serves wonderful coffee. Its a tiny little shop with a counter and few tables outside. The flat white is perfect, and the cakes and sandwiches look lovely. It's a little hidden away on a side street so if you are looking for it.
Cute, relaxed little café in a convenient Northern Quarter location. An all night cafe, supporting local art and music, board games to play, really good food. There is a lovely menu made up of homemade sandwiches and broths. Be impressed with the food selection; catering for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and for the good old carnivore, they provide a great lunch menu filled with all kinds of buttys, salads and comfort foods. Grreat coffe and tea.
The Art of Tea is Didsbury's finest independent cafe bar offering fresh, locally sourced produce, loose leaf tea, along with speciality beers, wines & spirits from around the world. While away the hours perusing the vast selection of quality second hand books available for sale in the adjoining Didsbury Village Bookshop. Free wifi for customers, artwork exhibitions from local Manchester artists and an awesome soundtrack. Great value and atmosphere.
Lots of room and lots of choice At first it looks like a gift shop and then you round the corner and it's a retro chichi cafe, with assortments of coffees and teas, cakes galore and a hot menu of breakfasts, soups and other tidbits.
