This privately owned restaurant oozes individuality and is a great destination if you're looking to take someone out for pizza or pasta with a difference. Valentino's is one of the older (if not the oldest) Italian eateries in Harborne. Staff are attentive and charming without being too clingy. The restaurant is inviting, always seems to be busy and has a great buzzing atmosphere as a result. Wildly popular, this pub seems to be always expanding, which means that there is plenty of seating around, although booking on Fridays and Saturdays in particular is probably a good idea. Really top place with an amazing menu. The interior, atmosphere as well as the food is amazing.  Christmas menu Regular menu

The South American bar and restaurant catch your eyes with a menu that bring back memories to anyone who already visited any Latin American country. Food is exceptional. You'll be hard pushed to find a pub with a warmer welcome than what awaits you in The Clifden. Add to this the superb food, unique beers on tap and the most brilliantly quirky beer garden on offer and you have yourself one of the finest ways to spend an afternoon or evening.

Opus is one of the best restaurants in Birmingham. Where Opus stands out is that they use fresh seasonal ingredients so if they happen to have an opportunity to buy something that morning, it will land on the menu by lunch time. This is a large spacious, light and airy restaurant that's been in Birmingham for 6 years now.

They have a good selection of dishes on their a la carte menu, all expertly cooked.  The staff are really attentive, and the speed of service is excellent.  The food isn't the cheapest curry you'll ever have, but it's certainly worth it, both in terms of portion size and quality.  Everything is a little on the expensive side, though the atmosphere is top class and goes a long way to justify the cost. If you like a pub with a mellow atmosphere, 70s funk and soul as your night's soundtrack and a dash of authenticity in the form of a Victorian inspired gin parlour then this is the place for you.  Very nice interior, menu and selection of cocktails. The food is also worth mentioning. The seasonal menu changes regularly and on a Sunday you can pick up a three course Sunday roast (boldly claiming to have the best roast spuds in Birmingham.The service is top notch, as was the presentation of the food. This place is the definition of the word "smooth". This is a  wonderful little Vegetarian and Vegan restaurant nestled away just round the back of Moor Street Station. It's BYOB. They serve a variety of homemade smoothies and juices, as well as tea's, coffee and soft drinks. If you're looking for a breakfast in Birmingham then look no further.There's a great selection for breakfast and the dishes are freshly and rapidly produced, If you can't  make it for breakfast then make sure you stop in for some tea and cake.... There's always a great choice. If you fancy something more substantial the burgers are fab and there are a variety of very healthy and tasty salads on the menu as well.

A modern Vegetarian bistro. The menu is tempting. From the starter to the dessert. And for a quick bite looking by the window people coming and going in the arcade, it`s a very cool way of spending a nice afternoon. The whole menu is Vegetarian, with dishes that can be adjusted to vegan or gluten free or both. The decor and feel for this place is really nice and the staff go out of their way to be pleasant which is positive. This is the only gluten free specific cafe in the Jewellery Quarter. Its a perfectly nice place to sit and grab a drink and food, maybe a little odd, but the giftware gives you something to look at whilst you wait for your food to be freshly made.  As well as offering the usual range of wraps, sandwiches, coffees, smoothies etc sell gluten free cakes.
