Briskets, pulled meat, roast meat, burgers, sandwiches, tacos and the BEST mini donuts! This is a "Southern Barbecue" joint that serves the classics like pulled pork, burgers, ribs, brisket, po' boy (not quite barbecue but still) , milkshakes, floats etc. Their ingredients are all local. Ontario meat, bread from local baker, and ice dream from Kawartha Dairy.
Great place- good food (smoked ribs in whiskey sauce are awesome), simple and affordable with a little cowboy twist that makes it special- overall above expectations. The Texas style BBQ is very good. If your not well versed in BBQ, Texas style applies a dry rub to the meat. See menu.
Live offers a great raw and cooked vegan menu. And it's a really nice dining space, with a large patio in the back. They have a large selection of smoothies and juices that each include at least one ingredient you've never heard of or definitely don't have at home. They're licensed, which is really nice because it allows you to satisfy the health nuts and those looking for a classy evening meal all at once. See Menu.
It's one of the best all-around vegan eateries in the city. The establishment is simple and clean. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming and the food is amazing. It's a little pricey but worth it considering they're a specialty vegan, organic, and nut free restaurant.
Everything at Camros is organic, vegetarian, gluten free, sugar and dairy free. Another great thing about Camros is that all the ingredients for specials are listed next to the names so those with allergies, sensitivities or on detoxes can choose accordingly.
