The Botanical Cafe is open 7 days for those seeking a light refreshment whilst wandering through the 50 hectares of perfectly manicured greenery to those who are seeking an a la carte breakfast or lunch personally prepared by our chefs. They have well presented kid's meals and you can watch them play out on the grass while you read the paper. The kid's meals are served on bright plates and trays with pretty cups, while adults will be totally satisfied with the fresh, modern menu on offer. Worth a visit just to see the kids play area. If you venture to the courtyard garden at the back of the rather popular Willow and Spoon, you will find a selection of toys to keep kids busy, and some green space to stretch their legs. There are lots of little nooks and corners to read books and they do very good smoothies too. They offer some of the best local produce and seasonal fare in town. MENU

This cute little air-conditioned café in Wavell Heights is the perfect place for mothers groups and ladies who lunch.  Step through the front room, past the counter and into a room perfect for large groups, and through again to the children's playroom.The coffee prices are pretty standard - $3.50 regular, $4 large, $4.50 jumbo. They sell a great variety of savoury and sweet items including Focaccia sandwiches, ham & cheese croissants, cupcakes, slices and eclairs.

Specialising in delicious modern Australian cuisine, our fully licensed café extends onto the atmospheric garden surroundings. Their menus include gluten free and vegetarian options and feature fresh, seasonal produce. The tables overlook a large duck pond with Eastern Water Dragons to spot. The separate kids playground is a major drawcard for this venue as well. They can draw on the giant chalk board while you enjoy your meal, then you can buy something special for the garden.

Although this place is only tiny, they cater very well for children. The Kid's High Tea ($18) is great and they have a wonderful kid's play corner complete with a high tea set, of course. Highly recommended as a morning tea treat for mum or grandma, with the kids in tow. Each table is adorned with white linen and fresh flowers and we especially appreciated the thoughtful children's corner complete with mini play tea set to keep little ones entertained. Cobblestone Teahouse offer three types of high tea - Elegant ($25), Indulgent ($35) and Decadent ($45)

Local's favourite, true Coorparoo's spirit , welcomes everyone. With an old style service, it is a perfect place to relax with your family and friends. Designed with parents in mind - you will love the fenced play area here, where the kids can play and enjoy their own time while you enjoy yours. This boutique/cafe is most definitely targeted at trendy mothers with surplus money to spend on gluten-free treats . It's very child-friendly, especially in the school holidays, with all sorts of activities planned.  This is a cafe/shop to visit if you need to do some specialty shopping, but be prepared to be tempted. The cafe provides activities to keep little ones busy along with excellent gourmet pies, cakes, salads and coffee.

Not only can you absorb yourself in the wonderful selection of books but you also get a fabulous cup of coffee as well. Food  great but the coffee was just so smooth, creamy & full bodied. Tucked out the back of this happening bookshop is a courtyard cafe with boxes of toys and dress ups for kids. MENU

Excellent cafe, great service. Staff love children and accommodate all their needs to make then feel happy and safe.They cater completely for parents/carers and children. Whilst good manners are paramount, they are allowed to draw on the tables, mold shapes in clay, and listen to stories while eating an excellent selection of healthy food designed for little fingers. Mixed reviews on food.

Kafe Krave caters for everyone. Whether you are popping over after a gym work out, taking the kids out of the house or just meeting a girlfriend for coffee - this cafe makes you feel welcome. There's a great selection of gluten free cakes and the breakfast menu runs all day. The cafe serves campos coffee which is a big tick as well. A cute little café with highchairs galore, Kafe Krave is always filled to the brim with kids (and their parents), so you know you’re in good company. 

Slinky Espresso is just awesome,great coffee and always friendly service. This is a great little hidden gem on the Southside of Brisbane. The meals are very filling and their Espresso's are delicious, A friendly cafe with some toys in the corner to distract the babycino drinkers. MENU

Head along to The First Pour to enjoy a coffee at the home of Veneziano coffee. There’s a kid’s nook where they can sit and color in or draw.Coffee is great! And matched with good food too! Awesome service as well! Staff are informed about the coffee, attentive, and has excellent customer service! 

Outback Jack’s is great for a family outing or for the times when you have a big group out for dinner. They do a great steak which you can choose from the open kitchen and choose your wine from the walk in wine cabinet. Or you can simply sit back, choose from the menu and enjoy the full table service.The kids are warmly welcomed and will be entertained in the games room with a big blackboard, video games and movies playing. Nantucket is a child friendly restaurant that sits on the outside of the newly refurbished Indooroopilly Shoppingtown on the west side of Brisbane. Sunday lunch,faultless quality food expertly executed. Salad Nicoise the very best example with seared fresh tuna as opposed to tinned, subtle fresh dressing. Corn bread with smoked butter the perfect accompaniment. Sous vide meat grilled to perfection on the charcoal grill. Such a pleasant fit-out in typical East Coast style. MENU
