The coffee is fantastic - some of the best in Sydney, if not cheap, with single origins and house blends. The food amazing with artisan breads you can also take home and more!
A great coffee & bagel stop. Very old school feel, quality service and great coffee. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area. Food is delicious, fancy sandwich, variety of bruschetta and great breakie range.
This place is amazing, the media lunas (kind of like mini croissants) are unique and delicious. The coffee is yum and reliable. Dulce Luna offers an Argentine breakfast, with great service. Good coffee and an awful lot of pastry type things cooked on site. Other Locations. See Products
This chic little Lilyfield eatery has earned a loyal following for serving outstanding coffee and delectable food. The Local Press roasts its coffee beans on site, ensuring the freshest brew. The menu offers the usual café suspects, done very well indeed; the roast pork sambo packed with fresh apple, walnuts and goat’s cheese is a house specialty. The kids will instantly dart towards the fabulous adjoining playground, but don’t fret; the café offers outdoor seating for mummas and papas to keep watch. Order the buckwheat crepes with spiced ricotta and fresh mango. A lovely child-friendly café for the Inner West folk of Sydney.
The view from the mezzanine cafe at Crave Coffee is a good one for coffee lovers: from here you can see directly into the warehouse below, where the massive roaster does its work. Come on the weekends and as you sip your piccolo latte and chow down on a locally made Patchetts Pie, you'll have that unmistakeable aroma wafting up towards you
The Tearoom at Gunner's Barracks has a breathtaking view of Sydney Harbour. Everything on the menu tastes delicious and is beautifully displayed. Recommend is the high tea for brunch, which consists of small desserts and mini sandwiches. The high tea portions are small but there is plenty of food on the tray.
A very nice little tea house tucked away from the hustle and bustle that is the CBD. Close to Wynyard, this gem is elevated from street level- it sits on Hunter st- and it has big glass windows so that the view is there and the noise is not.
If high tea is a novel idea for you and you are willing to spend some money, go to The Tea Room. High tea means three stacked plates of different pastries (both savory and sweet), a scone and other pastry plate, and tea.
A great place for a traditional high tea, devonshire tea and much more,
VELLA NERO offer a beautiful range of single estate, origin and blended 100% Arabica coffees sourced with a focus on sustainability. The coffee is incredibly good, smooth and strong, unlike a lot of places in the CBD.
Coffees are fast and very well made- no slacking for the staff behind the barista bar. The best part about Palomino is that they not only do lovely coffees, but they also have a great menu for brekky and lunch.
Known for really good coffee. A large and varied menu with some off beat additions to Cafe breakfast standards. The English Breakfast is recommended!
