5 eggs

1 Cup milk

1 lb. cottage cheese

1 tsp salt

1/4 cup of honey 

1/2 tsp cinnamon

4 matzas (unleavened bread)- crumbled

1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds (optiona


1. Preheat oven to 3500 F (175 C.)

2. Grease a large pie pan with butter 

3. Beat eggs and milk together

4. Add the rest of the ingredients, except Matza

5. Put half of the matzas in the dish

6. Pour 1/2 of the cheese-egg mixture on top of the Matza

7. Place the rest of the Matza on top of the egg-cheese-mixture

8. Pour the rest of the egg-cheese mixture over the Matza

9. Bake for 40 minutes or until the top is brown and slightly crunchy

10 Serve hot
