This is a great shop that fits the bill on so many food levels. It's part Italian grocery store, liquor store and Italian deli. It's not cheap when compared to an average grocer, but it's more of a Cardullo's-like specialty shop, and the prices are understandable. The food is very good, and the selection quite respectable.
Monica's Mercato is that classic Italian deli you dream about. Prosciutto hangs from the ceiling and they have a wide varied of grocery items you would not see in any typical grocery. The deli has an array of fresh meats and cheeses along with Italian favorites. They carry local dairy products and also have fresh pasta and pasta sauces to take home and cook.
It is huge from inside. It has so many sections that are so categorically separated from each other. Deli, meat / seafood section, general groceries, liquor store and finally - a specialty italian section.
When you walk in, you will see many Italian delicacies. They have several different types of sausages including salami, they also have a A good collection of olive and pepper relish, dried and fresh pasta, toppings/side dishes.
Wonderful little Italian deli and grocery store. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you step through the door you are greeted by wonderful sights and smells. From the door you walk in and on the right side is a deli type area with lots of pre-made foods that are already packed, so you can pick up and go..
They sellsawesome meats and Italian products and, most importantly, grinds their own sausage. The Italian groceries are well chosen. If you want good meat - fresh butchered from a guy who knows his stuff - this is the place to be.
A small store, with a pretty good variety of Mexican goods. They have fresh produce, but call ahead to find out when the produce shipment comes in. Good collection of spices, dried peppers and sauces that are not normally found in the area.
It is a good place to find Turkish products and some home food. They can cook in the store but they sell some bakery products like Baklava, Turkish bagel etc. This store has great selections of olives, jams, Turkish desserts, cheeses, and snacks. The store was clean, neat, and fully stocked. The pricing is reasonable and there is a good variety of brands to choose from. There was an extensive dairy section complete with mint yogurt drinks and string cheese.
This is a cute little shop with a lot of selection of spices and rice for its size. I think the biggest benefit of this shop is that the owners/shopkeepers are extremely friendly and if you need help finding a spice they are on it. Great little store to get your essentials for Indian cooking.
Unique and hard to find things from Mexico, Central and South America. The Go to Grocery Store for all of the Authentic Mexican Products, Cheeses, Tortillas, Nopales, Crema , Chorizo etc., that my family uses in our daily cooking! The Mexican snacks, sweets and traditional fiesta items, are always a treat as well!
