Tea House is not only a tea room, but also a retail shop where you can purchase over 100 different blends of tea (many of which are blended on site) which are displayed in glass jars and caddies. Before you choose a tea, they recommend that you open a few jars and caddies and breathe in the beautiful aromas you will encounter…one tea will always call out to you ! VISIT SHOP
If you have a tea-lover friend and want to surprise them on some occasion, you'd really like to consider this shop. I would not call it a tea house, but a tea shop. While you can drink tea on the premise, the primary focus is to sell tea. The products at Postcard Teas are amazing. They will redefine your understanding of what tea can be. When you walk in do not be dismayed if it seems like they don't have hundreds and hundreds of varieties of tea. In their carefully curated selection there will be at least one tea that you will love. You can certainly get stuff you can't find anywhere else in London here, even though it's a very small shop. There are some worthwhile food finds here including some of the spreads, which are inexpensive and lovely. (I recommend Bacon Oost, which is a highly addictive bacon mayonnaise.) There are non-food items (mostly kids stuff) and magazines as well. Definitely not the cheapest place in the world, but with brilliantly named sweets like 'Plopp' and giant chewy mallow dolphins) you absolutely cannot go wrong. A haven for anyone fancying a Scandinavian brunch (gravlax and meatballs a go-go). VISIT SITE
