An unpretentious french cafe settled in the middle of St. Clair West. The venue is small and seats maybe 15 at most. With fresh baguettes, pastries and great coffee, this will bring back memories of France for anyone.
Definitely a pricey one-stop shop for convenient specialty foods and quick take-away meals. The store is small-ish but they pack everything in. Anything gourmet you can find. Everything here is beautiful and fresh... any budding gourmet would be happy to spend the rest of their lives patrolling the cheese aisle or scouring the deli to see what delights they've cooked up for the day. Amazing little Belgian cafe with wide selection of desserts - at first glance it's almost overwhelming the selection this place offers. Rahier croissants are to die for, and they also offer a tantalizing array of 'designer' tarts for those craving a refreshing take on classics (read fig and pear tart with a marzipan fill!) Web site.
This bakery is nestled in the italian part of town. Not only is it a bakery, but they are a deli, grocery and a cafeteria. They serve great slices of cheese, meats, pizza, subs, and gnocchi. I's an old-school, New World Italian bakery. It's been around since 1960, and on the walls are pictures of the various owners. It occupies two storefronts, Web site.
Kozlik's is a good example of a Toronto food institution perhaps more specifically a St. Lawrence Market institution as the stand is there every market day, doling out samples of mustard paired with pretzel sticks and canadian bacon to hordes of onlookers. Their mustards are legendary and have a solid mustardy kick to them. Web site.
One of the well stocked and popular supermarket chain outlets. Web site for store locations.

The best polish grocer in the city..This is primarily Polish grocery store that specializes in what they do best, deli meats (charkvaror)! Also, if you’re seeking special parts of the pig or cow, this is the place for you. The produce is top notch and the prices are fair. The deli is huge, t has every type of sausage imaginable, not much poultry, tons of cheeses, and lots of smoked fish and roe.

They are specialized in South African groceries and meats, but will do made to order and have done many Swedish/Norwegian style hams for the Nordic folks!
This store which specializes in products from New Foundland is a little hole in the wall only worth mentioning because they sell the most affordable Cloudberry Jam (hjortronsylt) which they call Bakeapple Jam. If you absolutely have to have it, go here, but call ahead as their stock is pretty sparse.
