This place has good produce, meat, seafood, and a decent selection of Chinese, Vietnamese, and other East Asian foodstuffs. It's reasonably clean and bright.
The best place to get fresh spices anywhere in the city. They stock yeast and flour for naan, mango powder, blocks of paneer, fresh cloves, asafoetida for digestion, fantastic fresh spice blends, ground and unground seeds, a wide variety of dried legumes, tamarind, tamarind pastes, canned saag and amazingly fresh curry (fenugreek) leaves for making sambar.
This is one of the few grocery stores in the west-end that carries a gamut of pan-Indian/Bangladeshi products ( very limited fresh produce though) and not just predominantly North Indian ones. At the very back of the store there's a small butchery section.
A general purpose market very much focused on bulk food. Here you can find bulk spices and beans which are handy if you need large quantities of these things.
They have a fairly good spice selection and quite an impressive Indian grocery section (it is essentially an Indian grocery with some added spice bins) but where this store really shines is with their hot sauce collection.
