This is a full line German market, not just a pork store. Besides the charcuterie counter there is a full line butcher, German groceries, imported butters, mustards, fish pastes, etc. The prepared foods - salads, beef goulash, etc. are pretty good. There is a refridgerator in the front with German cheeses, dairy products, etc. They have a full selection of German and European candy and even toiletries from Germany! Nice shop with all german products, fresh meat, fresh dairy prepared meals, baked goodies, german bread, etc. The hot dogs, steaks, chickens, and Euro sausages are Amazing! The best pork store in the city. Liver sausage, extra hot sopressata, hot pancetta, capicola etc. This is a must try place no matter where you are its worth the drive! The star of the show is the housemade hot sopressata that adorns the ceiling. Sausage, sausage, sausage! Hanging from the ceiling, stocked in the cases and even sitting on shelves. This place is all about cured meat. It felt like a pork cave.
Great, authentic, German Butcher's who know their craft. Very professional and always inviting. A real treat and pleasure to see the Old School alive. A huge Greek/Mediterranean grocery and bakery store! Their bakery is amazing and they recently added a hot foods station that's just like mom's home cooking! They have everything you are looking for when it comes to Greek foods and products. The breads, nuts, oils and rows and rows of Greek packaged cookies are excellent. VISIT SITE
They sell Greek goods like feta, kefalotiri, taramosalata, nice flavorful olives, fresh, clean bulk spices too. They stock bulk spices, grains, flours, coffees, dried fruits, nuts, pickles, olives, marinated veggies, prepared Greek foods, cheese, and meats. The whole bean coffee selection is great, but more importantly, their decaf selection is the largest anywhere. VISIT SITE
This place had everything as far as middle eastern spices. Halabi beber (Aleppo Pepper), dried mint (nane), sumac, lentil, cumin, and all at reasonable prices. Great variety of fresh spices at very good prices! It is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall but well worth venturing in and poking around. It's got just about every spice you'd need. It's also got frozen basturma and soujouk, pomegranate paste, an endless array of jams, jellies, and dried fruits, and a decent selection of Greek, Armenian, and Middle Eastern cheeses.
