Viet Hoa has similar prices to what you'd find in the other Asian markets, but they make an effort to maintain their property and storefront. They have a vast international inventory to accommodate Houston's diversity! VISIT STORE
It has the cheapest prices, feels the most authentic, has food samples on the weekends, has cheap to-go food stations, and has an awesome tea aisle. Located in Chinatown, but it carries various brands and unique items targeted towards the Asian community and still leaves room to showcase American products as well. This market is a bit on the smaller side, including selection. They have freshly made dimsum on Saturday, which is totally a plus.
A local Asian convenience store/ market that has a small dining area. The grocery store is small with a total of 3 aisles. Veggies are kept in fridges. They have a lot of Asian condiments, rice, and other products.
If you are of Hispanic, Asian or Middle Eastern descent, then this is the place to go. They have a large assortment of Honduran, Guatemalan, Salvadorean, and Central & South American groceries. They have designated a Deli, Fish Market, Butcher and Bakery (you can get fresh Tortillas!).
The food is organized by country of origin - Russia, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Armenia, Israel, Portugal, etc. This store is amazing, don't let its small size fool you. It carries an eclectic mix of foodstuffs from the former USSR as well as a wide array of Israeli brand products. They also have a wide array of wines and beers from not only Russia, but from eastern europe as well.. In addition, you can find imported spices, teas, coffees, smoked fish, breads, sausages, cheeses and frozen foods.
Such a great Indian grocery store! They had all the ingredients I couldn't find anywhere else in Houston! Also, the staff is super friendly and helpful. People are friendly, large selection of grocery. Bought Gulab Jaman and Masala Chai, yipee! I like the place. By the way, I am not Indian. Awesome selection of achar (they always have swad mango pickle available!!!!), shan masalas, and other generic seasonings. They sell a wide variety of authentic regional ingredients. Visit Site
