The store is very clean and has a great selection of groceries as well as sandwiches and prepared foods. This is a great place to eat vegetarian sandwiches! Never busy, but they are always smiling in there. They have La Colombe coffee, a number of hard to find grocery items (like Wink ice cream!), lots of healthy snacks, and even produce.
Solid whole foods deli with kind (non-pretentious) hipster service. Lots of gourmet / healthy snack options -- like bacon chocolate covered almonds or homemade granola.Cute little market with a great mix of healthy snack items, deli, salad bar, etc. Given its size, the selection isn't great so keep that in mind when stopping by.

Asia Supermarket does encompass Asian foods and chinaware.The prices are good, the produce is (mostly) good, and the selection is by far the best in Philly's Chinatown. If you want a specific type of soy sauce or chili sauce or bok choy, this is the place to get it.
This is an Asian supermarket with fruits, vegetables, meats, seafood, dry and cooked foods. The products focus seems to be more Vietnamese than Chinese.
Cheapest food shopping in the area if you need fresh food such as vegetables, seafood, meat etc. they also have a great selection of healthy foods such as raw nuts, seeds and berries for pretty cheap. An enormous selection of quality fruits, vegetables and the walls are lined with a wide variety of meats ... duck, pigs feet/legs, whole chickens and breasts/etc. and of course beef in every variety.
King Market is a traditional green grocer, the same as can be found on almost every street in every city and village in China and around the rest of Asia. Everything is fresh, well presented, and out on the sidewalk where the natural light lets you see exactly what you are buying. Terrific source for exotic fresh fruit at very fair prices.
This is a hole-in-the-wall convenience store with a surprising selection of gourmet items, surprisingly reasonable prices, and Vietnamese hoagies to boot!
This place is consistently being restocked daily & they are not like other supermarkets where they put out all the older stuff first & hide the new stuff. The new stuff will become old stuff & look rotten!
