The selection beyond the meat and cheese includes all types, colors, shapes, sizes, packages, etc. of pasta. There is a wide array of oils, and an even more specific display of olive oils. Greek food, Turkish food, and quite surprisingly, Israeli food! Great little shop with a lot if interesting foods. They carry overseas chocolate & cookies that are absolutely delicious and also provide the best and freshest fruit in the area.
If you love fancy oils, vinegars and salts and you have not yet been to Cardenas, what are you waiting for?! This local biz has jugs upon jugs of delicious oils and vinegars, plus a wall of various types of salt. You can taste anything in the store, and the folks who run the place are super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

A fantastic Middle Eastern grocery. Everything is fresh and healthy. Amazing food and friendly staff. The homemade baba ghanouj is fantastic
Full service deli, produce, cold drinks, snacks, home products, candy, coffee, and seating. This place is like Whole Foods with more asian stuff, frozen dumplings and chinese ice cream too! Also a great Italian section, organic and special pasta (what corner store carries organic farfalle??) and bottled gourmet tomato sauce ALSO every kind of canned tomato style- whole, peeled, crushed, diced, you name it!
Penzey's is a great resource for spices, herbs, mixtures and flavorings, and it is near the top of the list of spice shops. They have tons of spices, neatly organized, next to large smelling pots of that spice. you can take a whiff, get a feel for what you may buy, and then choose accordingly. Also, their prices are reasonable.
A fantastic little coffee shop that serves more than just coffee. They have a variety of chocolate pieces here including chocolate turtles, chocolate covered toffee, & chocolate pretzels
