They have gourmet groceries, prepared meals, olive oil tastings (and other samples), and fresh produce.The meat and fish counters have great quality stuff - and you can get all sorts of hard to find produce.They have a huge selection of foods at every price point. On the pricier side of supermarkets, but what else do you expect with a store filled with local, natural, organic, and supposedly higher quality foods?
A "true gourmet grocery store." In fact, it feels like the quintessential gourmet grocery store, born and bred in NYC. Great place to come for some prepared food, fish and/or couple select gourmet ingredients. I wouldn't plan on doing a large grocery shopping here though.
This is a beautiful gourmet grocery store that has recently upgraded and expanded their cafe, even adding outdoor seating. They essentially have everything you could possibly need to cook up that feast you've been planning. Agata & Valentina seriously has everything you could possibly imagine - fresh vegetables and fruits, incredible cheese stand, entire butcher department, fish department, dessert department, fresh pasta ..... who can ask for anything more? This place is a food lovers dream.

Rich chocolates, artesian breads, international teas, exotic flowers, succulent fruit, specialty coffee & spices. Obscure condiments, organic sugars. Hand cut meats & European cheese.
Nice selection of gourmet foods and groceries with shorter lines than the nearby Whole Foods. Garden of Eden has their own brand of hummus and dips; they are good! The selection of gourmet and organics foods are a but pricey. Garden of Eden has an amazing selection of produce, prepared foods, and some dry goods staples. The cheese selection is to die for and arguably way better than Whole Foods.
Best place in the slope to pick up cured meats and cheese from Europe at reasonable prices. Lots of British snacks and candies, freshly baked bread, and a splendid selection of charcuterie and cheese.They have so much to offer when it comes to cured meats, cheeses, fancy chocolates, coffees, olives and baked goods.Various unique and foreign delicacies offered in a cozy little shop.
Literally anything you could want from a grocery store, unexpectedly in the Bronx. 50 kinds of beer? 100 kinds of cheese? A dozen types of vegan/vegetarian meat substitute? Ethnic and global cuisine, all types of pastas, artisanal and specialty items, olive bar, pre made dishes as good as Zabar's or Fairway. The prepared food section is fantastic.
Not a complete gourmet store by any means, it's surprising the variety of things they have there tucked in the corners that one may need in order to rescue a meal at the last minute. As far as the grocery selection, it's pretty good. They have a lot of stuff you wouldn't expect your corner deli to have. But the best part is how nice everyone is.
