Fat Lee Supermarket is one of the newest markets located right outside of Chinatown.The place has its own parking lot that isn't busy and chaotic, customer friendly, huge place to shop for almost all my Chinese grocery needs as well as groceriesitems to make Vietnamese food . They have a nice butcher area and a good selection of fresh fish.Their selection on vegetables is very nice, well stocked and frozen section has fair prices on frozen dumplings and boas. You'll find all your typical asian stuff here - fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh meat and seafood from the butcher, large freezer section for your dumpling cravings, aisles of asian snacks, an assortment of ramen noodles,

Viet Hoa Plaza

They have a huge produce selection, as well as fresh fish and seafood. This place is the real deal. Excellent selection, pricing and quality. Friendly and always busy. They have a decent selection of basic Chinese / Vietnamese produce.You can find bittermelon, fuzzy gourd, bak choy, Chinese broccoli, lettuce, bean sprouts, (small and large) pea sprouts, cilantro, mint, basil, culantro, and other herbs used in Vietnamese cooking here. It's pretty well-stocked, and most items are still fresh even close to closing time.

El Mercado Meat Mart

This market is a nice enjoyable surprise for a South American. With goods such as the delectable Argentine dulce de leche and meats and the hard-to-find Brazilian chocolates (including the sonho de balsas). They stock Alfajores Jorgito, Mantecol, dulce de leche, yerba mate and empanada dough. Great little Argentine market.  The Empanadas are as good anywhere in the city and they are a great price.

Buenos Aires Deli

The store carries a variety of authentic Argentine products from wines and mate to empanadas and desserts. This place is amazing. All sorts of Argentinian and S. American delights. If you're a Yerba Mate fan, as we are - there are dozens of varieties, An excellent little store. Solid wine and beer selection, even better yerba mate options. 

Gene’s Sausage Shop & Delicatessen

They have a large selection of different meats, cheeses, and salads at the deli counter. They have an awesome deli- some of the best meat and cheese in the area, which is saying something. They also have really great specialty items like foreign candies, beer/wine/liquor and groceries. Gene's deli counter and meat market are great. Always fresh meat. Lots of selection at Nayab mart. Great people. Nayab is much cleaner than other stores and have a nice selection of groceries very neatly arranged. Also the meat processors are nice and their dealing is friendly. The check out process is also quick. VISIT SITE

Supermercado Pepe’s

They specialize in South American groceries, especially dry goods. This is a good place to go for Brazilian products. It has more variety than other similar stores with reasonable prices overall, They have some small areas for produce, etc., as well. a nice selection of hard-to-find brazilian & south american groceries & liquors.

Produce, which focus on Latin American, mostly Mexican and Puerto Rican groceries, HarvesTime doesn't limit itself to a single region of the world. There's a little bit of everything.Best (Latino/Greek/Russian?) market-type grocery store ever!  Great selection of fresh, good-quality produce, super-cheap...not much in the way of organic produce   Excellent produce, ethnic foods, and prepared foods section. Harvestime--fantastic produce and meats, and really well chosen specialty items from a variety of world cuisines. They have the most amazing cookie selection with cookies from all throughout the world.  VISIT SITE

Brasil Legal Cafe

This is a great place for a brazilian home cooked meal. It is not a full restaurant, it is a mix of a brazilian grocery store and restaurant. Small grocery store with a wall full of shelves, full of product. That's all good. But where Brasil Legal Cafe shines is with the food. There is a short menu. The dining area is tiny; about 5 small tables, surrounded by some shelves filled (maybe) with various imported Brazilian food items. Although the space was small, it was packed with snacks and juices and even a cooler with meat.
