A compact supermarket that carries the essentials, plus some hard to find items. They have a nice selection of freshly cut meats and poultry, although some cuts are only available toward the end of the week. Also notable, is a fresh array of baked goods including bread, rolls, buns, pitas and pastries, from a few of the local bakeries, delivered daily.
They sell fresh pastas, bread, imported Italian snacks and candies, and feature a deli to die for. It doesn't get much more authentic for an Italian Meat Market than Sorrento's. The selection of Italian products is great and the people are very friendly and nice. For around or under $5 you can get a quarter-a half a pound of Mortadella, Bresaola, Prosciutto, Salami, Parma Ham, Pancetta, or Capocollo. They also have imported Prosciutto and fresh antipasti, along with dried squid ink pasta. VISIT SITE

The produce selection is very adequate, the meat and seafood department is great, the prices are very reasonable. VISIT SITE
If you're into Japanese cooking you have to check out Nijiya. They're famous for their organic produce but if you want to make Shabu-Shabu or Sukiyaki at home you will find the best quality meat sliced exactly the way it's supposed to be. They have most of what you're looking for if you're making something of Japanese cuisine, however, their selections are smaller. It is a small market, but you will find most of what you need. In the back is a small room with a kitchen... serving up fresh baked breads,
