They have a small market with interesting items and good coffee, tea and desserts. It has a nice old world charm and it's part cafe and part boutique. This is the place I choose to stock up on all things French (as the owners and staff are French). If you're a big foodie... but on a budget... then this is heaven! Epicure is a import grocery store (more warehouse...than grocery story) that specializes in high end European fare. They are open to the public on week ends, a nice parking lot. Great selections of imported food and great prices too.
The patisserie is all delicious and items of similar caliber are very hard to find in LA. The pain au raisin is delicious and not overly sweet like at other places; the biscuits (cookies) are perfection and worth the splurge; the tarts and pastries are all delicious Baked goods range from $4-6 , but really they look so great and their ingredients are top notch!
