This is a Korean Market,but there are plenty of Asian items that it's hard to find anywhere else. Inside this market, there is a pharmacy, cosmetic area, restaurant and bakery. Their seafood department is fantastic, clean and fresh. A lot of the staff though speaks mostly Korean and a little bit of English. Many gluten-free options, including sweet potato starch noodles and acorn meal.There is a small restaurant inside the supermarket that sells Korean dishes.
Canton Food Co. is a restaurant supply wholesale warehouse open to the public, no membership required. The shelves are well-stocked and organized, with the regular assortment of food as well as some Asian inventory It's like a Chinese Costco! Bulk produce and meats at cheap prices. For some items, you don't have to buy the whole case either but can get them in smaller packages.
Full of Scandinavian delicacies.They sell candy, breads, condiments, knick-knacks, decorations, coffee, crispbread and a whole lot more.There is also a good, additional selection of Swedish candies by Gotte Grisar ("Candy Pigs"!) that is sold by weight (you use scoops like at the bulk section). You don't have to be Scandinavian to enjoy their wide range of delicacies, beers, and wines. Gravlax and gevalia in the cutest cafe on pico with the most charming staff.
Great place to get tamales, pandeyucas, arequipe, chorizo and arepa. Awesome little place. Everything is organized. The place looks so good and the people there are nice and friendly. If you're Colombian, you must go there. If you aren't and want good Colombian products and a warm and inviting place go to little Colombian Delicatessen. I recommend anyone to come and try their empanadas and whatever they have on the menu. VISIT SITE
This old fashioned butcher shop, Croatian owned and run, is one of San Pedro's culinary gems. In addition to a full selection of beef, port, lamb and chicken, they also have the best fresh fish in town, with fillets often cut to order from the fish itself. There are also Croatian beef and lamb specialties.
They stock everything from fresh epazote to blue corn masa to Guatemalan and Honduran crema. I was surprised to see fresh arbol and chilaca chiles (called pasilla chiles in their dry form). The dried chile and spice section is impressive, too, taking up a whole wall. I've heard they even seasonally carry huitlacoche, although I've never seen it. If you're a Mexican/Central American food enthusiast and want to cook authentic dishes at home, this is your market. VISIT SITE
El Nuevo Mundo Market is a pecialists in authentic Creole Cuban food... where you will find what you need to create the most delicious dishes. They have an extensive variety of items and produce found locally and from various Latin American countries. They also offer prepared meals ready to eat here or take out. A favorite place for pan dulce, fresh guacamole, chicken, and carne asada. This place has great customer service.
It's a very small shop but they cover most of the bases for British favorites. Jams, teas, chutney, hp sauce, ribena, specialty candies (Penguin, Aero, Bounty) and even dainty teapots. This British shop offers comforts from home - Fish Paste, Marmite and Vegemite, Ribena, Aeros and Turkish Delight.
Very friendly service with a good selection of groceries.....herbs, spices estc.
