This European Deli offers all sorts of decadent delicatessens, great cheese selection and awesome panettones. This place has loads of specialty items, gourmet selections, wondrous selection of imported pastas, olive oils and vinegars are tempting as well, they even roast all the coffee in the store. Look no further!
The store is run by a German family. Apart from a great selection of imported products from Scandinavia, Poland, Germany and Austria, they bake wonderful bread, and also sell traditional freshly made sausages and other meat products. The great selection of cheeses alone is worth the trip. Web Site
This Portuguese market-bazaar offers lots of Portuguese/Mediteranean/food products and kitchenware at low, low prices- They are absolutely fantastic for products such as tuna in olive oil, bacalau, they even have Italian-brand pastas and tomato cans, Portuguese Delta coffee and more. The olive oils are all the basic Portuguese brands, Victor Guedes, Saloio, but be careful, as some oils are rather mediocre, quality-wise.
More people should know about Cool & Simple. Specialty food products are flash-frozen. Not just any food products though --- local Wagyu beef, Fauchon desserts (Tarte au citron, my fave), Erhard ice cream and other food selections from France. They offers a range of more than 300 frozen products imported from Europe or manufactured locally.
Oneof the the best Portuguese bakery in Montreal. Perfectly located near Romados, you cannot go wrong with anything you get here as all the pastries are always fresh. The natas have a crunchy flaky crust and a not too sweet creamy custard. Not quite the selection of what you would find in Lisbon, Portugal but this is absolute heaven for your sweet tooth!
For a neighborhood grocer, this place has a nice mix of gourmet and regular fare. Prices seemed reasonable across the board for this type of grocer. Latina provides a great mix of specialty imported goods and delicious Italian and French cuisine prepared in-house and ready to take home. A selection of local cheeses, meats, drinks and a fruits-vegetables section make this an excellent all-around grocery as well. Web site.
