The store is very clean and the people work there are really polite and friendly. They have a pretty good collection of meats to cook and some specially for BBQ, in a good quality. Other than that , I think you can find any thing you need from this middle eastern market. Very helpful and curtious. Their Halal meat and canned/jarred sundries selection is good.
The store is full of all kinds of middle eastern canned goods, jams, chocolates, dates, cheeses, breads, hookahs and some religious items as well. They have many kinds of Halal meat, delicious cakes, veggies and fruits. Visit Web Site
This place is best thought of a middle eastern grocery store / butcher with a small kitchen in the back where they have some food They have a modest grocery selection with all your middle eastern essentials, as well as many of your basic grocery needs such as breads, dairy, canned goods, frozen foods, etc.
There are shelves dedicated to food, pots and cleaning supplies of Africa-- not to mention beautiful fabric.
It's a mix of a Middle Eastern market & liquor store. The selection, including some African products is pretty amazing and varied. They had all sorts of foods, spices and other selections.
Cool little food/ gourmet/ convenience store. Imported foods that are hand selected by the owner, "Mo" -- who is so friendly and will let you taste the newest finds..... sometimes brownies and other sweets.... sometimes a new middle eastern dip that is unique to his store.... just lots of stuff. Also pedestrian things like Sprite, milk, etc. They've got great foods from England, Ireland, other Middle Eastern countries, great feta cheese from France and Bulgaria, yogurt from Greece, Armenian breads ... the list goes on and on.
This family-run international food market is a favorite for running quick errands or finding quality Greek speciality food items including spices, olive oils, feta cheese, etc. The staff is extremely helpful whether you are looking for a particular item or need advice on a product. The market also features freshly made take home items including spinach pie, gyros, and more
A small African grocery on Essex Street in Lynn. This store caters the African immigrant population with such items as various flours and oils that are staples to the west african cuisines. They have a large freezer of bagged cow skin for african cow skin soup and a delicious spicey plantain chip. They do not have a lot of pre-packaged goods but have all the ingredients necessary to form the base for any west african meal.
Inside they have multiple whole walls dedicated to rice and aisles dedicated to noodles. They have a really big selection of cookware too. The spices/sauces/condiments are aplenty and they have a very nice selection of produce and meat/fish. They even have a prepared food corner and herbal medicine corner. The only thing that may be a little lacking is their frozen section. The staff are nice too and it's not too messy inside like some other Asian markets. The meat section is questionable, but the fish area typically has a lot of fresh seafood.
The prices are really outstanding, especially for the various sauces, noodles, vinegars and oils. If you are new to Asian cooking, look up some easy recipes to start with, bring a shopping list, and you will find everything you need. Overall a great selection of Chinese food and cooking supplies, an abundance of produce, and seafood so fresh it is still living. The soy sauce selection is abundant, there are dozens of interesting juices, and the frozen dumpling selection isn't too shabby either.
