Cactus Candy Co is located in a small building room, stocked with: hot sauces, jellies, marmalades, cactus gummies, prickly pear taffy and shirts. They use the juice of the prickly pear cactus fruit to make a jellied candy which has a great sweet-tart taste.

It's Sugar is a cute looking candy stop in the mall that is filled with candy and novelty gifts. This is a really cool store full of candy and all sorts of funny items.  So if you want a five pound gummi bear, a box of "Colon Blow" or even a candy g-string... stop in. Moxed reviews re. pricy?

Edible flowers for crystallizing, espresso powder for meat rubs, fancy pants mushrooms, high quality chocolate, duck fat, mangosteens outside of an Asian grocer, the works - real gourmet fare. They  have a lot of UK and South Africa things that I simply cannot find anywhere else. Great wine selection and always there to lend a hand. Fresh fruit and veg amazing. Tons of gourmet mustards, olive oils, beautiful produce and a fantastic deli with freshly prepared salads, Mexican food and more. 

A combination grocery store, gourmet food shop with an emphasis on food. They have a sushi bar here, FULL deli with lots of premade dishes and plenty of meats, cheeses and breads. The produce is fresh, there's hardly anything that goes out of stock unless it's the day of a holiday, and the selections are great.

Great store with a great selection of herbs/teas/supplements/etc. Great selection, local small business with knowledgle helpful staff. You get the sense the staff are passionate alternatives to health and wellness. Instead of of spending your money at sprouts for vitamins and such, check this small gem out.

Neveria Chay'os is highly recommended! Sweet employees and clean location. They have about everything you can think of when you're craving a nice Mexican treat. The place is delicious and has a great variety of treats to choose from. They have the best elote and its cheap super friendly and if you like milk shakes then thus is the place made with trify ice-cream.

There are several local produce vendors and even some meat and egg suppliers. However, the real stars of the market are the craft vendors selling locally made products. There are several bakeries selling fresh treats and craftsmen with many different useful and artistic wares. It's a nice open market where local products are sold. You'll see interesting finds, fresh produce, flavored salt, truffles, artisan breads and chocolates.

Reasonable priced veggies, fruit, and bulk nuts. Produce is always fresh and they have a great selection.That always have some interesting things, and plenty of delicious vegetarian frozen items for lunches. Sprouts Market is  the place to supplements, organic produce, vitamins and other healthy stuff.

As soon as you walk in, you can tell that they're preserving history. It's a family owned and run factory, with 4-5 generations working at this point. They offer free tours Monday-Friday at 10 and 1. You get to walk around the machines for a few minutes and they tell you about the history of the factory. You also get free samples! Also, the chocolate is delicious and they have all types, sizes and flavors

They have everything you could ever need or want. ..edible glitter, molds galore, cake rounds, flavoring,  food coloring. Spun sugar is unassuming from the outside, a small purple and pink shop full of baking supplies. The racks and small and cramped close together.  Spun sugar carries a little bit of everything, including baking tools, cake/cupcake boxes, cupcake liners, dyes, scented oils, chocolates, a variety of prepackaged sprinkles, containers of fondant and marzipan.

The best place to get fresh produce. If you are not an organic, healthy person there is a lot of this store that you won't care for. But, you can always find the fresh foods at decent prices. And then there is a whole bunch of brands and products to cater to the selective consumers.  It's a farmer's market, bakery, butcher shop, sweets paradise, wine shop, restaurant and cooking class...all in one. 

Not only do they make cakes, but  have all the supplies you would need to make a fantastic creation of your own. Awesome great place to get a cake!!!

The friendliest and most informed staff. Its a tiny store, but they seem to always be stocked in healthy pantry staples. They also make wonderful smoothies and sandwiches to go here.  Produce is fresh and organic. Lots of selection for such a small store. The aisles are CRAZY tight so you'd better be a thin, healthy eater to shop here. 

The produce and salad bar are always fresh. If you are looking for a whole food with excellent customer service then you will like this one. Pricey, very pricey. But this is a very  clean store with a really great selection. Pricey, yes. It is organized and clean. The long-standing kitchen equipment store in Chelsea Market.  Among their peers, Bowery Kitchen seems to be the jack-of-all-trades, peddling all manners of kitchen tools.  The inventory can seem devoid of rhyme or reason, with little consistency in manufacturers and completeness in any particular line of items, and at any particular time.  

They have gourmet groceries, prepared meals, olive oil tastings (and other samples), and fresh produce.The meat and fish counters have great quality stuff - and you can get all sorts of hard to find produce.They have a huge selection of foods at every price point. On the pricier side of supermarkets, but what else do you expect with a store filled with local, natural, organic, and supposedly higher quality foods?

A "true gourmet grocery store." In fact, it feels like the quintessential gourmet grocery store, born and bred in NYC. Great place to come for some prepared food, fish and/or couple select gourmet ingredients.  I wouldn't plan on doing a large grocery shopping here though.

This is a beautiful gourmet grocery store that has recently upgraded and expanded their cafe, even adding outdoor seating. They essentially have everything you could possibly need to cook up that feast you've been planning. Agata & Valentina seriously has everything you could possibly imagine -  fresh vegetables and fruits, incredible cheese stand, entire butcher department, fish department, dessert department, fresh pasta .....   who can ask for anything more?  This place is a food lovers dream.

They have a huge chocolate selection. Everything is fresh and really good. If your idea of good chocolate is that it comes in unusual shapes or covers unusual objects, then you will probably like this place. They also offer a variety of other sugary confections. 

Go here for raw milk, local greens, and coffee. Green Aisle offers locally sourced foodstuffs, organics, fine foods. This is a place where when you walk in and feel like you're getting a glimpse of our region's fertility...everything from vegetables grown in our soil, bread out of neighbor's ovens, and jerky from our piggies' bellies.

All kinds of meat, chicken and a bunch of different Israeli products.  All kosher meats are also Halal.  For the Muslim neighbors of the northeast, this wonderful couple would love to make their top quality meats part of your next Eid celebration. There's the standard selection of kosher meat products, but also a lot of specialty things -- house made sausages and different kinds of burgers.

Run by Amish employees, they are so polite and friendly.  The homemade fudge looked perfect as it was calling my name. They have many different varieties. But seriously, if you're looking for awesome chocolates, fudge and other assorted sugar bombs, this is the place to go in Philly.  

 Mariposa has a great selection of healthy foods. Organic veggies, raw milk, dry goods, even some frozen foods and household products. As with most co-ops, it is on the pricier side if you're not a member. They have a good selection of bulk foods, coffee. Also lots of vegetarian proteins options here, as well as sandwiches and salads. 

Really cute, very very small shop. Well stocked with lots of locally made and store made specialty items. There are a lot of interesting things, like artisan drink mixes.You can you get all the trimmings from your favorite spots around the city and suburbs? We're talking creamy hummus from Zahav and those gorgeous meringues from Fond, locally farmed meats, produce and cheese, Severino pasta and Market Day Canelé, to name a few. 

If you love fancy oils, vinegars and salts and you have not yet been to Cardenas, what are you waiting for?! This local biz has jugs upon jugs of delicious oils and vinegars, plus a wall of various types of salt. You can taste anything in the store, and the folks who run the place are super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

They have an incredible selection of food, drinks, snacks, and different household items. Great variety of food and snacks! Highly recommended to those having a party and needs some stuff (soda, snack) at the last moment! They also have some fresh sandwiches and wraps they actually can make them at your order with ingredients you want!

Solid whole foods deli with kind (non-pretentious) hipster service.  Lots of gourmet / healthy snack options -- like bacon chocolate covered almonds or homemade granola.Cute little market with a great mix of healthy snack items, deli, salad bar, etc. Given its size, the selection isn't great so keep that in mind when stopping by.

This smallish store is packed with chocolate in a ridiculous array of creative forms. The chocolates are delicious, the truffles decadent, the staff courteous, and the prices remarkably reasonable. Don't miss Lore's if you're in Philadelphia!

They have everything from pantry staples, snacks like chips and candy, magazines, drinks galore, a deli counter, and frozen foods ( Ben & Jerry's!). A bit pricey but you will find everything you need here. 

They have a good  selection of both Mexican and American groceries and the staff is very warm and friendly. The place is well lit and  very clean. it looks like the groceries get refilled/rotated quite regularly.The deli in this little bodega makes the best sandwiches around. 

Extensive variety of teas, excellent quality matcha that is also very affordable. The owner is as knowledgeable as it gets when it comes to tea. Huge selection of teas. Everything smells so good.

Food & Friends is simply the best if you're looking for craft beer or hard-to-find chocolate.  Their selection is great, their staff is friendly, and it's always well-stocked.  As you might expect, their prices are a bit steep, but that's to be expected. The shop also doubles as a small grocery store, stocking many gourmet items, which certainly makes it very convenient for those living nearby.

For some, there is nothing better than a good, old fashioned Jewish Deli.  Schlesinger's fits the bill nicely. You really can go wrong with any of the sandwiches (especially their breakfast sandwiches). Consistently good food at good prices.

Excellent artisanal chocolate flown in weekly from Switzerland. This place is VERY expensive, but the chocolate is good. For top-quality chocolates, Teuscher is a safe bet for corporate or special occasion gift giving. The flower boxes are beautiful - but very pricey. 

 Always an amazing selection of loose leaf teas and steaping accessories and the owner has always been very helpful and extremely knowledgeable! If you want a quality tea experience in Philly without the chain store shenanigans, definitely check this place out.

Awesome store!!  Even if you have no clue what you're doing, you can breathe easy at Amazing Cake Supplies. They have plastic cake/cupcake holders, all kinds of dyes, premade flowers or fondant decorations, and Wilton icing decorating tips that you can buy a la carte (useful if you're looking for a specific tip and aren't interested in having to get an entire set). They even have seasonal items depending on when you go (Christmas, Halloween, etc).

Hands-down the best prepared food in any of the Whole Foods in Houston.  The service is good the store is always clean and organized... The produce department is a little tight squeeze but overall a great shopping experience..The miles of chocolate goes hard! It's chilled gluten-free and delicious.

Sprouts is a great alternative to Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. Their prices are accessible and they have a good variety of healthy item. They have a fresh a large produce section. The organic section is pretty extensive as well. They carry some protien bars, but dont go in there looking for things such a gym suppliments. Always well stocked and the employees are always helpful, informative and friendly!

They have the most impressive range of candies, sweets, sodas, groceries from around the world. Countries include USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Europe, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore/Indonesia, Thailand, South Africa and Scandinavia.

It specialises in cake and sugarcrafts, so you can pick up all sorts of icing, decorations and food colouring for a home-made birthday cake, or you can have a bespoke cake made. The only cake decorating supply store in Central London that offers a pretty decent range of piping tips, food colouring, unusual cake tins, and other odds and ends related to sugar craft. If you're a serious cake decorator, however, the selection isn't going to blow you away.
