This is medium sized latino/hispanic grocery store, you will find items mostly from Central America and a few from South America, specially Colombia. This small grocery store with a cafe in back has many Spanish, Cuban and South American items that are hard to find elsewhere on the Northside.

The grocery is very well organized, and very very clean. This grocery sells fresh produce, fresh ginger and little green chili peppers all the way to dry goods like lentils, and chick peas. Old World Market on Broadway is African/Caribbean with a healthy pinch of Latin America. It's the go-to for an incredible array of authentic Jerk seasoning. Also Caribbean and African products, there's always something interesting and new to discover. Great selection of meat and produce too, and the price is CHEAP!
It's primarily takeout but they have a decent range of groceries.The restaurant is open 7 days for lunch and dinner and the food is consistently delicious. The food is fantastic! The sweet plantains are always perfect. I'd recommend takeout over dine in, because the dine in can be slow.
