Excellent, authentic Hungarian food. Almost as good as my mom's cooking. The food is terrific and very homey and comfort food. If you want to know authentic Romanian food, come on down! If you ever been to Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic or Poland, you will find very similar dishes throughout. CASH ONLY

Located in the International Food Court near the Santee Alley, Olga Russian food serves fast food cafeteria style via warming trays. The portions very generous. The food good, fresh, homemade, authentic, like mom's cooking.
Dacha is unique in the ense that it's not really an enclosed restaurant. It's more of a patio with curtains, a couple of long tables and a warm fireplace. The food is out if this world. This is a Tajikistan restaurant which is rarely you can find in New York. Everything is from fresh and from scratch. Pilov is out of this world ! which is made of vegetable rice and marinated red meat. If you are vegetarian you can hold the meat. Food: Delicious and fresh. Liver, chicken and lamb kebobs are cooked to perfection, properly seasoned, juicy and flavorful.
This is a small store but it is highly specialized with Russian and Uzbekistan foods. There is a small smoked fish counter, a much larger cheese and smoked meats area... lots of frozen dumplings. .. and the rest of the store is filled with produce and imported canned goods. In the back is a small room with a kitchen... serving up fresh baked breads, Russian salad bar... and a hot food steam table.
This place has a very nice interior reminiscent of many other Russian restaurants. The food is excellent, all the food is made the same exact day it was served. All the food is fresh and delicious.This place is a treasure. It is Russian (or more specifically Uzbeki) home cooking at it's finest.. MENU
