This place is a delightful surprise. Delicious, reasonably-priced food in a converted house with a lovely patio area. The tortillas are homemade. Everything is fantastic. The ilachas are so juicy and good. The paches taste so awesome. Even the refried beans are great. And they have really good kid plates.
if you want a legit Guatemalan dining experience, this place is it. Awesome authentic Guatemalan Cuisine. Food is amazing! Customer service was great. Very small place homie feel.
You would not know how great this restaurant is based on the outside look but the food is authentic, tasty and traditional.
A hidden gem! Their papusas were soft and mouthwatering, but my all time favorite item on their menu is their tortilla soup. Still by far, one of the best tortilla soups I ever had. Prices are reasonable, and the portions are huge! The entire staff are friendly, and so is the owner. You really feel like you're at home because of the taste of good home cooking. MENU
Casa La Dona is by far the best spot for authentic delicious Mexican food served by very nice people. Incredibly tasty and incredibly spicy. Food was fresh and delicious. Staff is great! Highly recommend this place when you're craving authentic Mexican in a clean restaurant. Parking is difficult to find but worth it!
Chipotle except better - Organic, all natural ingredients, fast and friendly staff, cant go wrong. The selection of proteins, toppings and salsa is unbeatable and their ingredients are really fresh. The food is so delicious, the options for everything from burritos to taquitos to different salads and bowls and delicious fish always taste perfect - and also they have 6 different types of salsas! MENU

Sage boasts a large menu full of Mexican, American and Brazilian, vegan cuisine. Friendly staff and cool atmosphere. The food is very fresh. This is real 'soul food'...food that is not only delicious but good for you and elates your soul. The menu is extensive and creative and they are willing to customize to your needs. MENU
The food and service is outstanding. Solid sit down Mexican place. If you need a place to convince you that taquerias can work as restaurants instead of just food trucks, this is the place. The decor is kitschy without being snobby, and classy ambience without being pushy. MENU
Bubbling stew pots of tender meat welcome you as you walk into this establishment that's known for a wet-style taco called Guisados. Try their spicy cochinita pibil or a vegetarian-friendly calabacitas taco made with squash blossoms. They also have excellent agua frescas, and the tortillas are made by hand multiple times throughout the day. What's more is that it's cheap. The prices fluctuate depending on the daily specials, but you'd be hard pressed to spend more than $10 including drinks. About 10-15 kinds of tacos, including chicken, beef, pork, or fish. Vegetarian choices include calabacitas (squash and corn), black bean and cheese, and hongos (mushroom). MENU
Of all the tacos from all the valleys and every side: east and west and south and northeast, this truck makes the finest tacos. Al Pastor tacos, the veggie taco, and the quesadilla. 10/10!! - sweet family owned truck, these guys handle their food and their customers with care. No seafood, no frills. just straight homemade goods.Tortillas are great.
This establishment serves fine traditional food from Guatemala. The location is in one of those mini malls that sell Agua Pura, but it's a nice place; cool and colorful. Plus the food's tasty and cheap. It's family owned and operated and the tamales are great. It's a hidden gem . Try the pepian , garnachas , enchiladas guatemaltecas, horchata (guate estilo) If your in LA and want the "real thing" this is it.
They have great tasting bread and food. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing is finding parking. Rellenitos are good. Platanos con crema y frijoles with a bolillo. Can't beat it. You can get pupusas there too. ... If you wanna feel like you just walked into Guatemala then go here.
If you like pupusas, you will enjoy Sarita's Pupuseria inside the Grand Central Market. This place had some amazing pupusas, they make them right when you order, they're not frozen pupusas the ladies make them right in front of you. For those that are unfamiliar with pupusas, it is a traditional Salvadorean dish made with a thick handmade tortilla and filled with your choice of meats, veggies, cheese, beans, etc.
Super affordable, good quality excellent. Be very patient food does take a while to make as it's made to order. A tip would be to call ahead your order so by the time you arrive the wait is shorter. The food does take long but only because it's made at the order so be patient. It's homemade salvadoran food. Their pupusas are really good!! A favorite dish is the breaded shrimp
