Fantastic USA style menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything inbetween. The place is small but worth a wait if busy, Amazing! 

  The restaurant produce their fresh take on modern and street style Mexican cuisine.THe menu is designed to encourage sharing and has been structured in a way to allow multiple courses.Snacks, tapas, quesadillas and tacos all show traditional flavours and textures of Mexico. All their tortillas are traditionally hand rolled and pressed daily using wheat and corn masa flours.

This cavernous, light and airy room is a favourite destinations for meeting up with friends with kids of different ages. Sit outside and watch the kids play on the grass area, or take turns supervis them in the nearby playground. This cafe in picturesque Rushcutters Bay isn’t the fanciest by far, but it offers one of the best views of Sydney with a fantastic children’s playground within metres of the tables. Tables are outside so it’s not a good wet-weather venue, but the relaxed atmosphere and the ability to grab a good coffee and pastry while you watch the kids in the playground is a super-plus. There are a couple of high-chairs but there is loads of room to pull a pram up to the table. There is also a children’s menu 

With a chook run, extensive kitchen gardens, children’s play area, weekend market and several indoor and outdoor eating areas, The Grounds is more city farm than cafe. The food and coffee is superb, but just be prepared to wait for up to an hour for an indoors table during peak periods on the weekend. But don’t let that stop you – just grab some takeaway instead and head to one the tables in their extensive grounds. 

Playing host to just about every mothers’ group in the Inner West, Sideways is one of those heavenly cafes that are more than happy to accommodate frazzled new mums and their wailing babies. Their relaxed and friendly attitude is just one of the reasons why they’re kid-friendly; the mountainous stack if IKEA high-chairs is another. MENU

Located right on Shelly Beach beside Le Kiosk restaurant, The Sandbar cafe is a stroll-in/stroll-out affair where sandy feet and wet togs are no problem. You can grab a coveted table on the deck – it’s nice to sit with a coffee while the kids go mad on the grassy area at the back of the beach – or order take away to enjoy on the sand or park benches. The food is a carefully created version of your standard takeaway fare – with fish and chips, malted milkshakes and sandwiches all freshly prepared. 

A super-friendly and extremely-tasty new addition to Summer Hill’s cafe scene, Goblin Cafe’s affable staff are more than happy to accommodate little people and make them feel at home. There is room to pull up a pram between each table, and they also have a couple of high-chairs and a dedicated children’s table with toys as well.

Kids young and old are more than catered for at this super-cool Leichhardt cafe, with a toy box and an old-school arcade machine that plays Space Invaders, Frogger and Donkey Kong. The food is also playful and sweet, with fairy floss-topped banana splits and babyccinos sprinkled with hundreds and thousands.
