Drytown Cellars is not an “unfortunate” name for a winery! —It’s toponymous! Drytown was never “dry,” but has a long history of people determined to enjoy life while following their dreams. One of the largest towns in the foothills during California’s Gold Rush, Drytown had hotels and saloons to accommodate thousands of 49ers.

The wines are amazing. The staff is helpful and the owners are extremely friendly. The food is great and the company, even better! This place is super casual and there's not much seating so I wouldn't...

The owner travels throughout California to find just the right grapes for his vineyard designated wines. The winery produces 22 different red varietals from 9 appellations. They produce balanced wines that can be enjoyed in their youth, but will also age and become more complex with time. Their wines share a theme of fresh fruit reflective of the varietal flavors inherent in the grape.

Nine Gables Winery and B&B is a family owned and operated winery, which began in 1998. Smaller winery, but stellar service and product. They are doing the best they can do with the size of the room they have and the staff they have on hand. If you want faster service, don't go on the weekends. However, if you like good wine and are a little patient, it is worth the stop. This is a great winery that is off the beaten path - usually you are the only people tasting at the time so it makes it more personable.

For B & B they a variety of...

This place is always so welcoming, unpretentious, and overall lovely! One or two good reds, but they are best known for their bubblies! Amazing flavors and great quality.

Their bottles are as pretty as their wines, which are hugged with original artwork. Free tasting! They have a beautiful setup inside and outside, so you can grab a bottle and bring a picnic basket and set yourself up outdoors. The grounds are beautiful and the wines are, of course, fantastic. They do zins, syrah, and barbera very well. But a lot of...

Bray really does have a beautiful vineyard. The rolling hills and green landscape are really fantastic. The trees in the vineyard are perfectly laid out for great photos. Very friendly casual environment. The wines here are good, but the folks that run this place keep us coming back! Generous tastings, and knowledgeable about their wines of course. Great wine, music, grounds and tasting room. You'll encounter some crazy Portuguese varietals here as well as some killer olive oils
