With 40 acres already planted and plans to cultivate 30 more over the next five years, the Gur-Ariehs have crafted an exceptional vineyard producing world class wine grapes. The viticultural practices are aimed at producing uniformly ripe fruit throughout every vineyard block.
This is just a charming little winery in a 60's style home converted into a Tasting Room. There are no toppers on the bottles with 1 oz. pre-measured samples so your pours are rather generous - good thing they leave you pretzels to keep you standing. The wines have been aged longer than the average Amador County wines and perhaps that is why everything tastes so much more mature and smooth. The grounds around the tasting room are beautifully landscaped. There is a huge Koi fish in the fish pond near the waterfall just below the tasting room. Highly recommend a stop including C.G. Di Arie Winery Tasting Room when you travel to Amador County!!!
Open Friday – Monday 11:00am – 4:30pm
