All Centennial wines are made onsite in their state-of-the-art, 200+ tonne winery. The climate in Bowral means that our vineyards are more suited to early-mid ripening varietals such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, and Riesling. Of particular importance are the traditional Champagne varieties - Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier. Key to the success of these wines is the very cool climate yielding musts with ideal natural balance.
The Centennial Vineyards Restaurant has created a wonderful dining experience which makes the most of the beautifully appointed room and stunning vineyard views. Cuisine is cleverly balanced between contemporary and bistro-style. Freshly picked Cuttaway Creek raspberries and the restaurant's home grown seasonal herbs contribute to the local produce fare. Restaurant serves High Tea Monday through Friday, and lunch Wednesday through Monday (i.e. Tuesday is High Tea only).
They up to 35 wines on tasting in their cellar door as the winery processes many different varietals and styles. Everything is kept separate until blending. They find that visitors to cellar door love to try something different and step outside the squareCellar door also has quality local produce for sale, perfect as a gift or to take home for your own pantry.
