Hong Galbi is a modest family-run Korean restaurant that specializes in pork ribs. Service is excellent. They have a few parking spaces available in the small lot or park on the street. The food at this place felt more like I was at someone's house than a restaurant. Although all the dishes were simple and straightforward, you felt the love and care that went to each dish.
Nestled in Koreatown, this place really does stand out when it comes to quality Korean BBQ.. Exceptional quality! Especially regarding the meat that they serve, The wait is long, but they take the KBBQ experience to the next level. Their custom designed grill is pure genius. Side dishes cooked in the fat dripping down from the actual meat on the grill?
Han Bat only serves sul lung tang,. Sullung tang is Koreans' answer to a soju hangover the morning after an epic night out in K-town, and this is the place to get the very best. The broth is so rich and full of flavor. It may not actually cure your hangover, but it will definitely help you to feel just a little bit better. Korean comfort food at its best. Absolutely fantastic. The meat is super tender and melts in your mouth.
Ham Ji Park is simply phenomenal. One of the most delectable, fulfilling, and blissful dining experiences in K-Town. This is the place to go if you want solid pork dishes and Korean BBQ. This place is cheap and good. And the portions are big. Decent banchan. You'll probably overeat. It can be crowded,
This place has got all kinds of Korean soups on the menu, including , galbi tang!!! They also have sul-lung tang, gom tang, gamja tang, budae jjigae, all kinds of yummy korean food. And instead of a whole bunch of banchan, you get cabbage kimchi and radish kimchi, which is all you need while slurping delicious hot soup. Really good korean food! Their rice is mixed rice with white, red and brown rice, super healthy! Most importantly, it opens 24/7!
Best restaurant in this particular neighborhood, hands down. Order the regular Sul Lung Tang and it's always SO good. Deep flavor, awesome kimchi ggakdugi to go along with the soup. The yuk gae jang (spicy red soup with beef brisket veggies and glass noodles) is so flavorful. A lot of older Koreans eating there so you know it's good. It's gets super crowded during lunch so be prepared. There's a lot to park in across the street. Open 24 hours.
In terms of dining at the food court, you can easily get out spending under $15 and feeling incredibly full. Some of our favorites include beef hot pot from Daewon Bowl, fried pork at Galleria Tonkatsu, and of course ice cold boba from Bopioca. It's a good place to go after picking up the kids from school -- even better with other friends with kids. Portions are decent, so it's possible to cobble dinner together for six people, say, with three or four orders. The kids especially love the tonkatsu platter (huge pork chop fried in panko bread crumbs with a slightly sweet, tangy sauce), and dumplings are always a hit.
Asian fusion at its BEST. Their special is short rib taco — two crisply griddled homemade corn tortillas, double-caramelized Korean barbecue, salsa roja, cilantro-onion-lime relish and a Napa Romaine slaw tossed in a chili-soy vinaigrette — so iconic to Kogi, would soon become anointed as an L.A. classic .MENU TRUCK SCHEDULE
A fusion of Korean and traditional American comfort food..."hot dogs". Try the the spicy pork. It has a kick and perfect w the apple cole slaw that compliments the sausage. Also their kalbi sausage and spicy pork sausage is to die for. As well as their balls which taste insanely good. MENU
This is a Korean Market, but there are plenty of Asian items that it's hard to find anywhere else. Inside this market, there is a pharmacy, cosmetic area, restaurant and bakery. There is a small restaurant inside the supermarket that sells Korean dishes. Their specialty is their deep fried chicken. They get you first with that smell - sweet, deep-fried goodness.
The food is great, the service is wonderful and it's great for big groups. Make reservations. Great ambiance, great quality of meat, a nice variety of banchan and good service. In addition to the side dishes, they also have other extras that come with the meal too. Great experience and staff is amazing. MENU
