Situated in the heart of Chorlton's 'trendy and bohemian' Beech Road, this is a very good example of cafe bar done very well. Beautiful restaurant with a modern vibe and friendly staff. At its best, the Lead Station is a perfect example of a cafe bar done well. Situated in a former police station, it serves delicious, simple and relatively inexpensive food, has a good range of beer of tap, a great selection of wine, and best of all, its situated right in the middle of Beech Road. Cute, relaxed little café in a convenient Northern Quarter location. An all night cafe, supporting local art and music, board games to play, really good food. There is a lovely menu made up of homemade sandwiches and broths. Be impressed with the food selection; catering for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and for the good old carnivore, they provide a great lunch menu filled with all kinds of buttys, salads and comfort foods. Grreat coffe and tea.
The hot chocolate is to die for here. Get the salted caramel hot chocolate, its lovely. The chocolates are good and the flour-less is rich and heavy. The chocolate is so intense you get quite a buzz from it, a very nice pick me up if your planning a night on the town and don't fancy coffee. The lady who runs the shop is cool and friendly.
The Art of Tea is Didsbury's finest independent cafe bar offering fresh, locally sourced produce, loose leaf tea, along with speciality beers, wines & spirits from around the world. Free wifi for customers, artwork exhibitions from local Manchester artists and an awesome soundtrack. Great value and atmosphere.
All their curries are gluten free. The Spicy Hut is by far one of the best places to visit on the Curry Mile. The food is very good, with the flambe sizzler dishes being a speciality. It's one of the places you can take your friends to and end up being hailed as the genius of the curry mile, who knows all the best places like a local.
Lots of room and lots of choice At first it looks like a gift shop and then you round the corner and it's a retro chichi cafe, with assortments of coffees and teas, cakes galore and a hot menu of breakfasts, soups and other tidbits.

Good family friendly place for Sunday lunch. A well balanced menu - something for everyone. Christmas Menus Regular Menus
This is one of the best restaurants in the greater Manchester area, or rather in the entire Northern UK. Always excellent. The food is fantastic, perfectly judged. The dining room is small and perhaps somewhat cramped, but given it's essentially the size of a residential dining room, it's hardly surprising, and it's part of the place's charm. Price wise you will not find any better value. Special diet requirements catered for. MENU
The OX is a really cool down to earth English pub. It is a traditional 'pub' with lots of seating and an outside terrace area for when the weather is fine. The food is 'gastro pub' grub with large portions although slightly pricey for pub grub. Christmas Menu Regular Menus

A great coffee shop-breakfast place right in the centre of Manchester and only a few seconds away from Market Street. The waiting time on a weekend morning can be 30 mins. On a weekday you can walk straight in. Whatever the wait it's worth it.
