They really do have good coffee, they roast and make their own and has a very rich and robust flavor. Great place, nice ambience, friendly barista and staff in general and the place is always buzzing. In general, the coffees are decently priced, and they also have a range of pastrie sand organic teas that seems interesting. They roast their own beans and have interesting information about the roasting process and a cool setup in store which makes it seem extra special.
They make everything fresh in-house, from their summer and spring rolls to pork and lemongrass meatballs. Massive quantities of food at a low price. Piping hot hash browns, full mugs of coffee, more baked beans than you can finish in one sitting. The decor is vintage and lovel This is one of the last of a sadly dying breed; the true English cafe. This isn't some silly gastropub or fancy "nouvelle cuisine" nonsense. This is genuine English food at it's very best.
Monmouth coffee is especially good. Excellent, fresh medium roast coffee brewed to order in pour over paper filter drip cones. When the line goes out the door and around the corner, you know you've done something amazing. The coffee is consistently outstanding.
